Voetbal International
''Voetbal International'' (VI) is a Dutch football magazine. It is the oldest Dutch football magazine that is still running. History and profile ''Voetbal International'' was established in 1965. VI was one of the founding members of ESM. It left the group in 2007. Voetbal International was acquired in 2019 by the publishing house Digital Enterprises. The chief editors of the magazine are Pieter Zwart and Freek Jansen. The magazine has had a sharply declining circulation in recent years. The current total paid weekly circulation is 28,312 magazines. In addition to the regular magazine that comes out every Wednesday, VI every summer publishes season previews before the start of the Dutch league season. For years they have made a guide for the Dutch season, including the fixture lists and information and statistics of every Eredivisie and Eerste Divisie team and its players. The 2017–18 Eredivisie was the 62nd season of the Eredivisie since its establishment in 1955. The season began on 11 August 2017 and concluded on 6 May 2018; the Europa League and relegation play-offs took place later that month. Cody Mathès Gakpo (; born 7 May 1999) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a left winger or forward for club Liverpool and the Netherlands national team. Riechedly Guillermo Bazoer (born 12 October 1996) is a Dutch professional footballer who plays as a centre-back or defensive midfielder for Turkish club Konyaspor. Club career Ajax Bazoer joined Ajax on a free from rival Eredivisie club PSV on 16 November 2012. The 2020–21 Eredivisie was the 65th season of the Eredivisie since its establishment in 1955. The season began on 12 September 2020 and concluded on 16 May 2021. On 2 February 2021, the KNVB announced that effective immediately clubs would be allowed to make an extra substitution for suspected concussions as part of an IFAB sanctioned trial. This trial will allow teams to make up to six substitutions across four breaks in the match instead of five substitutions across three breaks in the match. The 2019–20 Eredivisie was the 64th season of the Dutch football league Eredivisie since its establishment in 1955. The season began on 2 August 2019 and was suspended on 12 March 2020 due to the COVID-19 pandemic in the Netherlands. The season was abandoned on 24 April. Ajax were the defending champion. Twente, RKC Waalwijk, and Sparta Rotterdam joined as the promoted clubs from the 2018–19 Eerste Divisie.
