Vlado Šola
Vladimir "Vlado" Šola (born 16 November 1968) is a Croatian handball coach and former player. Born in Prisoje, Tomislavgrad, Prisoje, Šola played the position of goalkeeper on the Croatia men's national handball team, Croatian national team and competed in the Handball at the 2004 Summer Olympics – Men's tournament, 2004 Summer Olympics. Widely known for his energetic attitude and famously dyed red hair, he retired from playing professional handball in 2008. Tomislavgrad
Tomislavgrad ( Cyrl, Томиславград, ), also known by its former name Duvno ( Cyrl, Дувно, ), is a town and the seat of the Municipality of Tomislavgrad in Canton 10 of the Federation of Bosnia and Herzegovina, an entity of Bosnia and Herzegovina. As of 2013, it has a population of 5,587 inhabitants. In the Roman Empire, Roman times, it was known as Delminium. During the Middle Ages when it was part of Kingdom of Croatia (925–1102), Croatia and Kingdom of Bosnia, Bosnia, the town was known as Županjac. This name remained until 1928 when it was changed to Tomislavgrad. In 1946, communist authorities changed the name again to Duvno, and in 1990, the name was returned to Tomislavgrad. 2012 European Men's Handball Championship
The 2012 EHF European Men's Handball Championship was the tenth edition of the men's continental handball tournament, which was held in Serbia between 15 and 29 January 2012. Sixteen teams qualified for the event, including host nation Serbia, defending champion France and fourteen national teams through the qualifying tournament. The teams were split into four groups of 4, with the top 3 teams of each group advancing to the main round, carrying the points won against other qualified opponents. The European Men's Handball Championship is the official competition for senior men's national handball teams of Europe and takes place every two years since 1994, in the even-numbered year between the World Championship. World Men's Handball Championship
The IHF Men's Handball World Championship has been organized indoor by the International Handball Federation since 1938. In the twenty-nine tournaments held, twelve national teams have won the title. France is the most successful team with six titles, followed by Sweden, Denmark and Romania with four titles each.
