Vlado Pravdić
Vladimir "Vlado" Pravdić (6 December 1949 – 5 December 2023) was a Bosnian musician who was the organist of the Yugoslav rock group Bijelo Dugme from 1974 to 1976 and again from 1978 to 1987. Biography Born in Sarajevo, PR Bosnia and Herzegovina, FPR Yugoslavia as the only child of a Croat father and a Ukrainian mother. Pravdić's parents divorced during his adolescence as the youngster remained living with his mother. He enrolled in musical school at the age of seven and learned to play the piano. After completing his secondary schooling, he studied Physics at the University of Sarajevo's Faculty of Natural Sciences and Mathematics. Pravdić's musical activity began during 1965 in Vokinsi, whom he was with until 1968. He would go on to play in Kost from 1968 to 1970, Ambasadori from 1970 to 1971 and Indexi from 1971 to 1973. Goran Bregović
Goran Bregović ( sr-Cyrl, Горан Бреговић; born 22 March 1950) is a recording artist born in Bosnia and Herzegovina. He is one of the most internationally known modern musicians and composers of the Slavic speaking countries in the Balkans, and one of the few former Yugoslav musicians who has performed at major international venues such as Carnegie Hall, Royal Albert Hall and L'Olympia. A Sarajevo native, Bregović started out with the bands Kodeksi and Jutro, but rose to prominence as the main creative mind and lead guitarist of Bijelo Dugme, widely considered one of the most popular and influential recording acts ever to exist in the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Palm Desert is a city in the Coachella Valley region of Riverside County, California. The city is located in the Colorado Desert arm of the Sonoran Desert, about east of Palm Springs, northeast of San Diego and east of Los Angeles. ''Kad bi' bio bijelo dugme'' () is the 1974 debut studio album from influential Yugoslav rock band Bijelo Dugme. The album was polled the 14th on the 100 Greatest Yugoslav Rock and Pop Albums list in the 1998 book '' YU 100: najbolji albumi jugoslovenske rok i pop muzike'' (''YU 100: The Best Albums of Yugoslav Pop and Rock Music''). Recording Prior to the release of the album, Bijelo Dugme had large success with their 7-inch singles. Jutro (Sarajevo Band)
Jutro (trans. "Morning") was a Sarajevo-based rock band most notable as the immediate predecessor to Bijelo Dugme. It existed from late 1971 until the very end of 1973 when it transformed into one of the most successful rock bands ever to come out of SFR Yugoslavia — Bijelo Dugme. Career Jutro was formed as the brainchild of twenty-eight-year-old rhythm guitarist (formerly of Indexi) who in fall 1971 decided to approach guitarist Goran Bregović with an offer of putting together a new band. Twenty-one-year-old Bregović—who had recently returned to Sarajevo after gigging across Southern Italy for a year as part of an act called Kodeksi that transformed into Mića, Goran i Zoran before folding—gladly accepted.
