Vladislav Blănuță
Vladislav "Vlad" Blănuță (born 12 January 2002) is a professional footballer who plays as a forward for Liga II club FC U Craiova. Born in Moldova, he represents Romania at youth international level. Club career Blănuță started his career in Czech Republic at the age of 10, playing with Slavoj Vyšehrad and Slavia Prague, before returning to his hometown Hîncești with Petrocub Hîncești. He would leave for Regal Sport București at age 14, before going to the academy of Rapid București and then Pescara. Blănuță made his professional debut for the latter on 27 December 2020 in a 3–0 league defeat against Virtus Entella. Hîncești
Hîncești () is a city and municipality in Moldova. Hîncești is situated on the Cogâlnic River, southwest of the Moldovan capital, Chișinău. Since 2003 it has been the seat of Hîncești District. History Hîncești was established in 1500 AD as Dobreni. It was part of the Principality of Moldavia until its annexation by Russia in 1812. Within the Russian Empire it was known under the Russified name Gincheshty (Гинчешты), but in Romanian as Hîncești. After World War I, it became part of Romania, formed in the meantime from the unification of the principalities of Wallachia and Moldavia. During World War II, it was occupied by the Soviet Union in 1940, which changed its name to ''Kotovskoe'' after Grigore Kotovski, who was born there. The 2023–24 Liga I (also known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) is the 106th season of the Liga I, the top Romanian professional league for association football clubs. Liga I (; ''First League''), also spelled as Liga 1 and officially known as SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in Romania and the highest level of the Romanian football league system. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation from and to Liga II. The teams play 30 matches each in the regular season, before entering the championship play-offs or the relegation play-outs according to their position in the regular table.
