Vladan Lukić
Vladan Lukić ( sr-Cyrl, Владан Лукић; born 16 February 1970) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a striker. At international level, he made appearances for Yugoslavia and FR Yugoslavia. Playing career After arrival to Red Star Belgrade from hometown Sopot, Lukić entered first team and immediately showed scoring abilities. He also had a good start with Yugoslavia national team, but his luck turned around in 1991 in a match against Austria, when he broke his leg in a collision with teammate Siniša Mihajlović. Lukić returned to football eventually, but never reached his full potential as a player. He had top performances in the 1996–97 season, when he won the Swiss Football League with FC Sion. The following year, he finished second placed in French Ligue 1 with FC Metz. Sopot, Serbia
Sopot ( sr-Cyrl, Сопот, ) is a municipality of the city of Belgrade. According to the 2022 census results, the town has a population of 1,956 inhabitants while the municipality has 19,126 inhabitants. Location Sopot is located on the slopes of the Kosmaj mountain, south of Belgrade. The mountain is some away from the town. History The area has remains from Roman period. There is a masonry drinking fountain in Sopot, for which the Roman stones from some now disappeared structure were used. The name of Sopot is derived from the old Slavic word for water spring (Serbian: ''izvor'').(cf. Sopotnica). The word itself is onomatopoeic of the water sound flowing out of the spring. Goran Vesić
Goran Vesić (; born 18 February 1969) is a Serbian politician who served as the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure from 2022 to 2024. A member of the Serbian Progressive Party, he served as a member of the National Assembly of Serbia from 2001 to 2004 and briefly in 2022. He also served as the deputy mayor of Belgrade from 2018 to 2022. Vesić resigned as construction minister in the aftermath of the Novi Sad railway station canopy collapse and was subsequently arrested. His term ended on 25 November 2024. An ''éminence grise'' () or gray eminence is a powerful decisionmaker or advisor who operates covertly in a nonpublic or unofficial capacity. The original French phrase referred to François Leclerc du Tremblay, the right hand man of Cardinal Richelieu, the ''de facto'' ruler of France. Ivan Adžić
Ivan Adžić (; born 21 June 1973) is a Serbian former professional footballer who played as a midfielder. Playing career Adžić came through the youth system of Red Star Belgrade, making his senior debut on 2 December 1989, at the age of 16. He came on as a substitute for Darko Pančev in a 3–1 away league win over Spartak Subotica. In the first half of the 1991–92 season, Adžić played on loan for Borac Banja Luka, before returning to his parent club. Dan Tana (born 1935 as Dobrivoje Tanasijević; ) is a Serbian and American restaurateur, actor, football administrator/executive, and former professional footballer. Tana is best known as the proprietor of an eponymous restaurant, Dan Tana's, in West Hollywood, California, as well as being closely associated with football clubs Red Star Belgrade and Brentford F.C. The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) carried out an aerial bombing campaign against the Serbia and Montenegro, Federal Republic of Yugoslavia during the Kosovo War. Ligue 1 (; ), officially known as Ligue 1 McDonald's for sponsorship reasons, is a professional association football league in France and the highest level of the French football league system.
