Vlada Jovanović
Vladimir "Vlade" Jovanović ( sr-cyr, Владимир "Владе" Јовановић; born 4 July 1973) is a Serbian professional basketball coach. He currently serves as the head coach for Spartak Subotica of the Serbian League (KLS) and the ABA League. Early career Jovanović finished primary and high school in Čačak. He graduated from the junior college for coaches in Belgrade in 1999. He is a final year student at the Sports Academy in a basketball study group. During his playing career he was a first-team member of Borac Čačak and Železničar Čačak. Coaching career Jovanović started his coaching career in 1997. He was a coach of youth teams of Borac Čačak, Zemun and Partizan Belgrade. In 2005, he was added to the Partizan coaching staff as the first assistant coach to head coach Duško Vujošević. Basketball League Of Serbia
The Basketball League of Serbia (), commonly abbreviated as KLS, is a Serbian basketball league system, top-tier men's professional basketball Sports league, league in Serbia. Founded in 2006. It is currently not run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia (KSS). Rules Competition format The league, operated by the Basketball Federation of Serbia, consists of two stages: the First League which has 16 teams and the SuperLeague which has 8 teams. Since the 2017–18 season, the top 8 teams in First League are promoted to Super League with five Serbian teams from the ABA League. Two lowest-placed teams, positioned 15th and 16th in the First League, are relegated to a lower-tier league – Second Basketball League of Serbia. The Radivoj Korać Cup ( sr-Cyrl-Latn, Куп Радивоја Кораћа, Kup Radivoja Koraća) is the men's national basketball cup of Serbia. It is run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and is named after Serbian basketball legend and FIBA Hall of Fame and Basketball Hall of Fame member Radivoj Korać. FIBA Europe Under-18 Championship
The FIBA U18 EuroBasket is the new name for the FIBA U18 European Championship, originally known as the FIBA European Championship for Juniors. It is a men's youth basketball competition that was inaugurated with the 1964 edition. It was held biennially through the 2002 edition. From the 2004 edition onward, it has been held every year. Russian Basketball Cup
The Russian Basketball Cup is the primary professional national domestic basketball cup competition of Russia. History After the cease of the USSR Basketball Cup in 1987, the Russian Federation did not launch any Cup competition in the following years despite the fact that the Russian Basketball Super League 1 had started in 1992. The first cup tournament took place in the year 2000 with the Final Four being hosted at Sochi. It was not held in the following two seasons, but it returned in 2002. YUBA League
The YUBA League was the top-tier men's professional basketball league in Serbia and Montenegro (previously FR Yugoslavia). Founded in 1992 and folded in 2006, it was run by the Basketball Federation of Serbia and Montenegro. The name ''YUBA League'' (Yugoslav Basketball Association League) was used in Serbia and Montenegro until 2006. It consisted of the first-stage "First League", and the second-stage "Super League", with each having their own men's and women's divisions.
