''Viņas melo labāk'' ('They emalesLie Better') is a Latvian summer daytime soap opera broadcast by TV3 Latvia. It ran on TV for 10 seasons and has featured well-known Latvian actors including Andris Bullis, Lauris Reiniks, Evija Skulte, and Karīna Tatarinova. TV3 Latvia () is a Latvian Commercial broadcasting, commercial television channel targeted at a Latvian language audience owned by TV3 Group (Baltics), All Media Baltics, a company owned by investment firm Providence Equity Partners. History TV3 was launched in 19 September 1998 replacing 31. Kanāls, but did not receive a terrestrial license until 2001. The channel has since increased its viewing share to become the most popular channel in Latvia as of September 2007, surpassing its then-closest rival Latvijas Neatkarīgā Televīzija, LNT. Until 2013, there was a free terrestrial TV channel, since 2014 it became a paid channel, terrestrial TV. Lauris Reiniks (born July 11, 1979) is a Latvians, Latvian pop music singer, songwriter, television host and actor. He has graduated from Jelgava Music college, studied communication science at the University of Latvia and trained as an actor in Los Angeles, California. Lauris Reiniks has released 9 solo albums and singles in 11 languages. He is also a composer and one of the creators of Richie Roo Bear, Ričijs Rū / Richie Roo Bear project for kids. Rodrigo Fomins (born 29 June 1962), better known by his stage name Igo, is a Latvian singer, poet and composer of rock and other music styles. Biography His mother is Irina Tīre, an artist and photographer, whilst his brother, Ivo Fomins, is also a singer. Igo studied playing the violin and is a singer and producer. One of the most popular singers in the 1980s, he was the lead singer for Latvian bands Corpus, Livi and Remix and in the jazz quartet Liepājas kvartets.
