FireSin (Latvian language, Latvian: UgunsGrēks)The literal translation of the show name is "The Sin of Fire", which is the normal Latvian term for "Conflagration" is a Latvian daytime soap opera that was broadcast on TV3 Latvia from 2009 until 2017. It was one of the longest-running scripted television programs in Latvia, airing nearly every weekday from March 15, 2009. It last aired on 19 May 2017. UgunsGrēks is the sequel to the Latvijas Televīzija, LTV1 show ''The Cost of Frenzy'' (Latvian: ''Neprāta cena''). After a 5-year hiatus, the show got unexpectedly renewed for another season. It was confirmed by an article on April 11, 2022. The show has been available to stream on the platform Go3 since October 10, 2022, and was aired on February 13, 2023, on TV3, but the project was short-lived because the director Inta Gorodecka died on May 5, 2023, at age 65. TV3 Latvia () is a Latvian Commercial broadcasting, commercial television channel targeted at a Latvian language audience owned by TV3 Group (Baltics), All Media Baltics, a company owned by investment firm Providence Equity Partners. History TV3 was launched in 19 September 1998 replacing 31. Kanāls, but did not receive a terrestrial license until 2001. The channel has since increased its viewing share to become the most popular channel in Latvia as of September 2007, surpassing its then-closest rival Latvijas Neatkarīgā Televīzija, LNT. Until 2013, there was a free terrestrial TV channel, since 2014 it became a paid channel, terrestrial TV. Mārtiņš Freimanis
Mārtiņš Freimanis (7 February 1977 – 27 January 2011) was a Latvian musician, singer, songwriter, actor, and TV personality. Freimanis was born in Liepāja, but spent his childhood in Aizpute. Career Music Mārtiņš Freimanis was the lead singer and songwriter of the popular Latvian rock band "Tumsa". They released 6 albums under the "Microphone Records" label. He also collaborated with other Latvian musicians, writing music, lyrics or both for them.
