Viðar Örn Kjartansson
Viðar Örn Kjartansson (; born 11 March 1990) is an Icelandic professional footballer who plays as a striker for Besta deild karla club KA Akureyri. Club career Viðar made his debut for Selfoss in 2006, aged 16. He joined Icelandic top division club ÍBV in 2009 but rejoined Selfoss after a short stint with ÍBV. He joined Icelandic club Fylkir in 2013 and after a very prolific goalscoring season in the Icelandic top flight, he joined Norwegian club Vålerenga in December 2013. Viðar scored his first goal for Vålerenga in a 3–1 home win over Bodø/Glimt on 6. April 2014. After his first year in Norway, Viðar ended up as the top scorer in the Norwegian top league with 25 goals scored in 29 games. Selfoss (town)
Selfoss () is a town in southern Iceland on the banks of the Ölfusá river. It is the seat of the municipality of Árborg. The Icelandic Route 1 (Iceland), Route 1 runs through the town on its way between Hveragerði and Hella, Iceland, Hella. The town is a centre of commerce and small industries with a population of around 10,000 (2023), making it the largest residential area in South Iceland. The Russian Cup () is a football competition held annually by the Football Union of Russia for professional and some amateur (only after a special permission and licensing by Russian Football Union) football clubs. The winner of the competition ordinarily got a spot in the UEFA Europa League first qualifying round. Sverrir Ingi Ingason (born 5 August 1993) is an Icelandic professional Association football, footballer who plays as a Defender (association football), centre back for Greek Super League club Panathinaikos F.C., Panathinaikos and the Iceland national football team, Iceland national team. Sverrir previously played for Icelandic club Breiðablik UBK before transferring to Viking FK. After a successful spell at the Norwegian club he moved to K.S.C. Björn Bergmann Sigurðarson (born 26 February 1991) is an Icelandic former footballer who played as a forward. He began his career with ÍA in his native Iceland before a three-year spell at Norwegian side Lillestrøm, during which time he made his international debut. In July 2012, he moved to English side Wolverhampton Wanderers for a reported £2.4m fee. His contract with Wolves expired in June 2016 without renewal. Ragnar Sigurðsson (born 19 June 1986) is an Icelandic former professional footballer who played as centre-back. Beginning his career with Fylkir, he went on to represent IFK Göteborg, Copenhagen, Krasnodar, Fulham, Rubin Kazan, Rostov, and Rukh Lviv before retiring at Fylkir in 2021.
