Vizcachas River
The Vizcachas River is a river in the south of the Patagonic province of Santa Cruz, Argentina. It is born at the Sierra de los Baguales, from the confluence of several streams, and descends from the Vizcachas Plain, flowing south until reaching a low-lying marsh area. At the 51° S parallel, it turns abruptly west until reaching the border with Chile, which it follows and then crosses. Patagonia () refers to a geographical region that encompasses the southern end of South America, governed by Argentina and Chile. Santa Cruz Province ( es, Provincia de Santa Cruz, , 'Holy Cross') is a province of Argentina, located in the southern part of the country, in Patagonia. Sierra Baguales
Sierra Baguales or Sierra de los Baguales is a mountain range in the southernmost Andes. Sierra Baguales is a long east–west chain, secondary to the main chain of the Andes that lie further west. It lies along the border between Chile and Argentina near the localities of Puerto Natales and Río Turbio. Geology The mountain range contains a series of cirques formed by glaciers. Many cirques developed in the Pleistocene Epoch from isolated glaciers that existed separedly from ice sheets further west. Serrano River is a river located in the Magallanes Region of Chile. Its main tributary is Grey River. The Serrano Glacier is an attraction on the river.
