Visa Mäkinen (born 28 March 1945 in Pori, Finland) is a Finland, Finnish film director, film producer, actor and screen writer. He has directed and produced films such as the 1983 James Bond parody, spoof ''Agentti 000 ja kuoleman kurvit, Agent 000 and the Deadly Curves'' which featured actors Ilmari Saarelainen and Tenho Sauren. He has also acted and written for several films. ''Pirtua, pirtua'' is a 1991 Finnish drama movie directed by Visa Mäkinen. The plot consists of a young man fighting against bootleggers in his home village during Finnish prohibition. The movie, which was Visa Mäkinen's first attempt at a serious movie, ended up a box office flop, with only 1,650 tickets sold and caused losses of a million Finnish markka. Mäkinen gave up on making movies as a result. ''Agentti 000 ja kuolema kurvit'' (English title ''Agent 000 and the Deadly Curves'') is a 1983 Finnish spy comedy film directed by Visa Mäkinen and written by Ismo Sajakorpi.
