Ana Vilma Albanez de Escobar (born 2 March 1954) is a Salvadorans, Salvadoran politician who was Vice President of El Salvador from 1 June 2004 to 1 June 2009. She is a member of the right-wing Nationalist Republican Alliance (ARENA). She is the first woman to serve as vice president, complementing the presidential formula of Elías Antonio Saca for the term 2004–2009. Their victory was the outcome of the most attended election in Salvadoran history, giving their party, ARENA, 58.5% of the votes, 20 points above its closest contender. Princess Elisabeth Vilma Lwoff-Parlaghy (born as ''Brachfeld Vilma Erzsébet'', Hajdúdorog, 15 April 1863 - New York, 28 August 1923) was a Hungarian people, Hungarian-born portrait painter who worked in the German Empire and the United States. She is known to have painted about 120 portraits of prominent Americans and Europeans between 1884 and 1923. Vilma Lidia Ibarra (born 21 May 1960) is an Argentine lawyer and politician, formerly a Senator and National Deputy representing Buenos Aires. Vilma Rose Hunt (November 15, 1926 – December 29, 2012) was a scientist noted for research into radiation and workplace safety for women. After beginning a dentistry career in Australia and New Zealand, Hunt traveled to the United States where she earned her A.M. in Physical Anthropology at Radcliffe College and began researching public health and radiation biology. In 1964, Hunt discovered that polonium 210 is a natural contaminant of tobacco, providing additional evidence for the link between smoking and bronchial cancer.
