Villa María, Argentina
Villa María is a city in Córdoba Province, Argentina, and the head town of the General San Martín Department. It is located in the center of rich agricultural land. The area leads the country in production of milk . The city has a population of 72,162 per the (Greater Villa María: 119,000), which makes it the third largest city in the province. The city lies 137 km southeast from the provincial capital, on the left bank of the Tercero River, near the geographical center of Argentina, at the intersection of National Routes 9 and 158, and right next to the Cordoba-Buenos Aires Highway, one of the nation's most important communication arteries. Mauro Rosales
Mauro Damián Rosales (born 24 February 1981) is an Argentine former footballer who last played in Alumni. A winger/ forward best known for his pace and crossing ability, he won a gold medal with Argentina at the 2004 Summer Olympics. Club career Rosales began his career with Newell's Old Boys. His play with Newell's attracted the interest of top European clubs and in 2004 he joined Dutch top side Ajax. While with Ajax Rosales appeared in 63 league matches scoring 6 goals. In 2007 Rosales left Ajax returning to Argentina to play for River Plate for a fee of 1.8 million euros. Marcelo Ingaramo (born 13 October 1962) is a former professional tennis player from Argentina. Career Ingaramo made his Grand Slam debut in the 1985 French Open and was beaten in five sets by countryman Eduardo Bengoechea in the opening round. At Wimbledon in 1986 he was again on the wrong side of a five set match, losing 6–8 in the fifth set to Hans Schwaier. He broke through for his first at the 1986 US Open, his four Grand Slam appearance, with a win over Luiz Mattar. The Argentine was defeated in the second round by sixth seed Yannick Noah. José Sebastián Brusco (born October 8, 1974) is a formed Argentine football defender. Brusco was born in Villa María, Córdoba. He started his professional playing career in 1993 with Belgrano de Córdoba. Amadeo Sabattini
Amadeo Tomás Sabattini (May 29, 1892 – February 29, 1960) was an Argentine politician. He served as Governor of Córdoba from May 17, 1936, to May 17, 1940. Sabattini was born in Buenos Aires to immigrant parents: His mother was Uruguayan, while his father was an Italian man from the Piedmont region.
