Vilas Rupawate
Vilas Rupawate (born 16 March 1967) is an Indian politician from the state of Maharashtra. In 2011, he joined the Indian National Congress. He became the General Secretary of the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee in January 2013, Rupawate became President of Nirathar Nirashrit Vyakti Vikas Vibhag under the Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee on 25 September 2011. Rupawate is founder of "Vilasbhau Rupwate Pratishthaan", which works with "Maharashtra Niraadhar Mahila Sanghatana" and "Maharashtra Devdasi Mahila Sanghatana". These organizations provide facilities for widows and devadasis. The group had organized a raasta roko protest at Kasarwadi near Pimpri-Chinchwad Pimpri-Chinchwad, also known as PCMC, is a city in the Indian state of Maharashtra. Shiv Sena (UBT)
Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) (ISO 15919, ISO: ; ; SS (UBT)) is a Hindutva-based, Marathi people, Marathi Regionalism (politics), regionalist, Indian nationalism, nationalist Politics in India, political party formed in 2022 under the leadership of former List of Chief Ministers of Maharashtra, Chief Minister of Maharashtra, Uddhav Thackeray. It was allotted a new symbol by the Election Commission of India, Election Commission, separate from the main Shiv Sena (1966–2022), Shiv Sena. It was one of two separate Political faction, factions, the other being the Balasahebanchi Shiv Sena, led by Eknath Shinde, formed as a result of the 2022 Maharashtra political crisis, until the Election Commissioner of India, Election Commission recognised the faction led by Eknath Shinde as the legitimate structure of Shiv Sena in February 2023.
