Viken, Sweden
Viken is situated in Höganäs Municipality in Skåne County, Sweden with 4,227 inhabitants in 2010. It has a surface area of 224 hectares. 223 of these are in the Höganäs municipality. Well known for its harbour, the village has a long history of seafaring and fishing. It is also known for the distinctive, mostly yellow, seaside cabins lining its vast public beach. Viken is known to have been the home of billionaire Carl-Eric Björkegren, who disappeared without a trace in 1994. Theories vary in terms of what happened. In 2005, he was declared dead by the Stockholm District Court. Rune Andréasson, the creator of the Swedish people, Swedish comic character Bamse, lived and died in Viken. Tove Lo
Ebba Tove Elsa Nilsson (born 29 October 1987), known professionally as Tove Lo (), is a Swedish singer and songwriter. She is known for her raw, grunge-influenced take on pop music. Referring to her autobiographical lyrics, ''Out (magazine), Out'' called Lo "the saddest girl in Sweden", while ''Rolling Stone'' called her "Sweden's darkest pop export". Bamse
is a Swedish cartoon created by Rune Andréasson. The highly popular children's cartoon first emerged as a series of television short films as well as a weekly half-page Sunday strip in 1966, before being published periodically in its own comic magazine since 1973. Andréasson did all the artwork himself until 1975 and wrote all the comics until 1990. Francisco Tora did all the illustrations from 1976 until he was joined by Bo Michanek in 1983. Several new writers and illustrators were hired in the early 1990s, including Claes Reimerthi, Olof Siverbo, Johan Wanloo and Tony Cronstam. Andréasson continued to do the magazine cover illustrations until 1992. The series somewhat changed direction when Bamse had children, specifically triplets, in 1982. Rune Andréasson
Rune Herbert Emanuel Andréasson (11 August 1925 – 15 December 1999) was a Swedish cartoonist and illustrator. Andréasson has created children's comics since 1944, mainly for the Swedish market, but his works have been published in several languages. He created mostly his own, original characters and features, which included the comic features "Brum", "Lille Rikard och Hans Katt" (Little Rikard and his cat), "Rulle och Maja" (Rulle and Maja), "Nicke Bock" (Nicke goat), "Åsnan Kal" (Kal the donkey), "Nalle Ritar och Berättar" (Nalle draws and tells), "Teddy", "Habibu" and " Pellefant". Carl-Eric Björkegren
Carl-Eric Björkegren (born 9 October 1920 – disappeared 2 June 1994) was a Swedish director, art collector, and businessman. After a successful career within the steel conglomerate Sandvik AB, he transitioned into the financial industry - leveraging and acquiring real estate, stocks, and art. For many, he was a symbol of the 1980s boom economy. Björkegren was, for a period, one of Sweden's wealthiest individuals and possessed what was described as Sweden's finest private art collection. In the early 1990s, his empire crumbled, and he eventually declared personal bankruptcy with 1.3 billion Swedish kronor in debt. In 1994, he disappeared without a trace. On 11 November 2005, Björkegren was declared dead in absentia by the Stockholm District Court.
