Viera Tomanová
Viera Tomanová (born February 5, 1948) is a Slovak politician, former Minister of Labour of Slovakia under Prime Minister Robert Fico. As a Minister she became known for her wild statements and many controversies, claiming her dog was poisoned in her house, prompting Prime Minister Fico to accuse Slovak journalists of the deed. She was popular among the elderly citizens for establishing "Christmas pensions", 13th state pensions issued out in December. Iveta Radičová
Iveta Radičová (; ; born 7 December 1956) is a Slovak sociologist and former politician who served as prime minister of Slovakia from 2010 to 2012. The first woman to hold the position, Radičová led a Radičová's Cabinet, coalition government as a member of the SDKÚ-DS. As prime minister, she was responsible for managing the economy after the Great Recession, and she supported budget cuts to reduce the Government budget balance, government deficit. Born in communist Czechoslovakia, Radičová began an academic career as a sociologist and specialized in methodology so she did not have to participate in ideological projects. She was one of the few women to take a prominent role in the Velvet Revolution, serving as a spokeswoman for Public Against Violence. She founded the Social Policy Analysis Center in 1992. Jozef Mihál
Jozef Mihál (born 18 March 1965) is a Slovak politician and tax consultant. He was Deputy Prime Minister; Minister for Labour, Social Affairs, and Family; and deputy leader of Freedom and Solidarity (SaS). Mihál attended Charles University in Prague, graduating in mathematics and physics in 1988. He worked for Aurus. From 2005 to 2006, he served as an advisor to the government on reform of health insurance. From 2007, he has owned his own company, Relia, which provides consultancy and training on tax. He ran for the National Council with Freedom and Solidarity in the 2010 election. SaS came third, with 22 seats, while Mihál personally received the third-most votes amongst SaS candidates: easily winning election.
