Vicente Fernández (golfer)
Vicente Fernández (born 5 April 1946) is an Argentine golfer who has won more than 60 professional tournaments around the world. Fernández was born in Corrientes, Argentina. He turned professional in 1964 and was a regular competitor on the European Tour from the mid-1970s to the mid-1990s. He won four titles on the tour and had two top ten Order of Merit finishes, placing 6th in 1974 and 9th in 1975. He was sixteenth on the Order of Merit in 1992 at the age of 46. As a senior Fernández moved to the United States to play on the Senior PGA Tour (now the Champions Tour), where he has won four tournaments. His other wins include eight victories in his national open championship, the Argentine Open. The Coast Open, or Abierto del Litoral, is a golf tournament played in Argentina. Founded in 1932 as the Torneo de Profesionales (Professional Tournament), a name only used for the first two editions, it has always been played at the Rosario Golf Club in Rosario, Santa Fe. The tournament has been a fixture on the PGA Tour Latinoamérica Developmental Series. The Center Open, or Abierto del Centro, is one of the major regional open golf tournaments in Argentina. Founded in 1927, it has always been held at the Córdoba Golf Club in Córdoba Province (Argentina), Córdoba. In 2001, Ángel Cabrera set the course record of 60 in the final round, and also equalled the tournament record aggregate score of 270, set by Ángel Franco in 1992. Roberto De Vicenzo won seven titles between 1943 and 1974. The North Open, or Abierto del Norte, was one of the major regional golf tournaments in Argentina. First held in 1962, it was always held at the Jockey Club, in Tucumán, the hometown of golfers César Monasterio and Andrés Romero. Argentine Masters
The Argentine Masters or Torneo de Maestros was one of the most prestigious golf tournaments in Argentina, despite not having been played continuously since the inaugural event in 1961. It was always held at the Olivos Golf Club near Buenos Aires. The tournament formed part of the Tour de las Americas schedule. In 2008 it was co-sanctioned by the Canadian Tour (2009 season). Fredrik Lindgren (golfer)
Fredrik Lindgren (born 28 March 1966) is a Swedish professional golfer who played on the European Tour. He was runner-up at the 1992 English Open at The Belfry. Amateur career Lindgren was born 1966 in Malmö and represented Falsterbo Golf Club throughout his career. Lindgren was on the National Team and won silver in 1982 and gold in 1983 at the European Boys' Team Championship, with a team that included Per-Ulrik Johansson. He earned a bronze alongside Jesper Parnevik and Johan Ryström at the 1984 European Youths' Team Championship, held at Hermitage GC in Ireland. Per-Ulrik Johansson (born 6 December 1966) is a Swedish professional golfer, who won six times on the European Tour and played in two winning European Ryder Cup teams. Early life Johansson grew up in Västervik in Småland, Sweden, and was a promising ice hockey player at 14 years of age, when he decided to give priority to golf training instead. He won the unofficial Swedish Youth Championship, the Colgate Cup, at his age level and represented his country on boys and youth level.
