Večernja škola
Večernja škola () is a Croatian improvisational comedy television series hosted by Željko Pervan. The series stars Pervan as a teacher of a night school class that discusses and learns about various political and social topics. The series originally aired on OTV between 1995 and 1998. After achieving considerable popularity in the region, it moved to HRT 2 as ''Večernja škola: Povratak upisanih'' from 2005 to 2006. From 2007 to 2008, Nova TV aired the spin-offs ''Večernja škola: Praksa'' and ''Večernja škola: EU''. Premise The show is largely improvisational and spontaneous, with Pervan portraying a teacher who leads a group of students in satirical debates on various political and societal issues. The majority of comedy stems from the students' poor understanding of the topics that are discussed. Improvisational theatre, often called improvisation or improv or impro in British English, is the form of theatre, often comedy, in which most or all of what is performed is unplanned or unscripted, created spontaneously by the performers. Kemal Monteno
Kemal Monteno (17 September 1948 – 21 January 2015) was a Bosnian recording artist and singer-songwriter whose career stretched from the 1960s to the 2010s. He is widely considered one of the greatest songwriters of the former Yugoslavia. Monteno wrote songs for other performers as well, most notably Zdravko Čolić, Toše Proeski, and the rock band Indexi. Early life Monteno's father Osvaldo was an Italian from Monfalcone. During World War II, he was drafted and deployed to occupied Yugoslavia in 1945 where he met a Bosniak woman named Bahrija in Sarajevo and fell in love. Osvaldo left his pregnant wife in Italy to marry Bahrija. Osvaldo's Italian wife gave birth in 1946 to a daughter named Daniela, Monteno's half-sister. Kemal was born to Osvaldo and Bahrija two years later in Sarajevo. Although his father was Catholic and his mother was a Muslim, Monteno was given a Muslim first name. Danijela Martinović (born 15 July 1971), also known mononymously as Danijela, is a Croatian pop singer who represented Croatia in the 1995 and 1998 Eurovision Song Contests. Biography Born in Split to Croatian parents, Martinović began to sing from an early age. She has a sister, Izabela, who also pursued a music career through Split-based pop rock act Stijene. Miroslav Škoro (; born 29 July 1962) is a Croatian politician, musician, TV host and former diplomat. He is the founder and the first president of the conservative Homeland Movement party, which he established in February 2020 and led until July 2021. As a musician, Škoro is best known for using the traditional Slavonian tamburica instrument in most of his compositions. In the 2007 parliamentary election he was elected member of the Croatian Parliament for the Croatian Democratic Union party and held the office from January 2008 until his resignation in November of the same year. History was first issued on 17 June 1943 by Tito's Partisans in an abandoned stone barn on Mosor, a mountain near Split, while the city was occupied by the Italian army.
