Aguas Verdes
Aguas Verdes (literally "green waters") is a town in the Zarumilla Province of the Tumbes Region in northwestern Peru. It has a population of 2,390 (1999) and is capital of the Aguas Verdes District. Aguas Verdes is located in the Ecuador–Peru border, border with Ecuador. An international bridge that goes over the Zarumilla River connects it with the Ecuadorian town of Huaquillas. Both towns have an intense commerce, commercial life and many formal, as well as informal street sellers that sell goods both in Peruvian nuevo sol, Peruvian soles and US dollars, which is the only currency in Ecuador. A free transit agreement exists and people from both countries can travel freely between these towns. Verde (grape)
Verdeca is a white Italian wine grape variety that is primarily grown in Apulia in southern Italy where ampelographers believe that the grape may have originated. In Apulia, it is one of the main grapes in the ''Denominazione di origine controllata'' wines of Locorotondo DOC and Martina Franca DOC along with Bianco d'Alessano. Vinho Verde
Vinho Verde (; , nonliterally 'young wine') refers to Portuguese wine that originated in the historic Minho Province in the far north of the country. The modern-day 'Vinho Verde' region, originally designated in 1908, includes the old Minho Province plus adjacent areas to the south. In 1976, the old province was dissolved. Vinho Verde is not a grape variety, it is a Denominação de Origem Controlada, DOC for the production of wine. The name means 'green wine', but translates as "young wine", with wine being released three to six months after the grapes are harvested. They may be Red wine, red, White wine, white or rosé, and they are usually consumed soon after bottling. A Vinho Verde can also be a sparkling, a Late Harvest or even Brandy. Verdes F.C. (''previously Hankook Verdes'') is a Belizean association football club which competes in the Premier League of Belize. They are currently based in San Ignacio, Belize, a town situated in the district of Cayo, Belize.
