Venga La Alegría
R. Vengadasalam, commonly known as Venga, is a Singaporean football official who is the founder and current president of Woodlands Lions FC, a youth-developmental football club with its senior team taking part in Singapore Island Wide League and an Ordinary member of the FAS, since the club's inception in 2018. A veteran in the Singapore football scene, Venga is mostly remembered for his time as an official in the S.League (now known as the Singapore Premier League) between 1996 and 2010, managing Woodlands Wellington between 1996 and 2004, and Tampines Rovers between 2004 and 2010. Woodlands Wellington Football Club was a professional association football, football club based in Woodlands, Singapore, Woodlands, Singapore which played in the S.League, the top division of football in Singapore. The club took part in S.League from 1996 to 2014. They are at the 4,300 seater Woodlands Stadium, where they have played since their establishment. Seletar ( ) is an area located in the north-east of Singapore. Its name can also refer to the Seletar Planning Area (as defined by the Urban Redevelopment Authority), situated in the North-East Region of Singapore. The place name was derived from the Malay subgroup who were indigenous to the area, the ''Orang Seletar''. Sembawang ( ) is a planning area and residential town located in the North Region of Singapore. Sembawang planning area is bordered by Simpang to the east, Mandai to the south, Yishun to the southeast, Woodlands to the west and the Straits of Johor to the north.
