Veljko Nikolić
Veljko Nikolić ( sr-cyr, Вељко Николић; born 29 August 1999) is a Serbian professional footballer who plays as a midfielder for Aris Limassol. Club career OFK Beograd Veljko started playing football with football school "Arena" and later moved to OFK Beograd, where he passed all youth categories. He was promoted in the first team for the 2016–17 Serbian First League season. Nikolić made his senior debut for OFK Beograd on 27 August 2016, playing match against ČSK Čelarevo in third fixture match of the season. He had started the match on the field and was replaced in the second half by Filip Rajevac. He also played next four First League and a cup match against Sloboda Užice. Red Star Belgrade On 4 October 2016, Nikolić signed a three-year contract with Red Star Belgrade in an €80,000 transfer from OFK Beograd. Serbian First League
The Serbian First League (), referred to as the Mozzart Bet First League for sponsorship reasons, is the second tier in professional Serbia's football league. The league was formed in 2005, following a reshuffle of the second tier Serbo-Montenegrin divisions. It is operated by the Football Association of Serbia. Format The league is usually formed by 16 clubs which play all against one another twice, once at home, once away. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020, the Football Association of Serbia completed a restructure of the league system, and in season 2020/2021 that meant 18 clubs would be competing in the Serbian First League, the number of clubs will go back to the usual 16 following the conclusion of the 2020-2021 season. The Serbian League Belgrade (Serbian: Srpska liga Beograd) is one of four sections of the Serbian League, the third national tier. The league is operated by the Belgrade FA. 16 teams compete in the league for the 2018–19 season. The top-seeded team will be promoted to the Serbian SuperLiga. The two bottom-seeded teams will be relegated to the Belgrade Zone League, the fourth-highest division overall in the Serbian football league system, while the team in 14th position will be participating in a relegation playoff match against the 3rd placed team from the Belgrade Zone League. The 2019–20 Serbian Cup season was the fourteenth season of the Serbian national football cup competition. It started on 11 September 2019, and ended on 24 June 2020. Vojvodina defeated the defending champions Partizan on penalties to win the title. Calendar Preliminary round A preliminary round was held in order to reduce the number of teams competing in the first round to 32. It consisted of 2 single-legged ties, with a penalty shoot-out as the decider if the score was tied after 90 minutes. Round of 32 Draw for the first round took place on 13 September 2019.
