Vebjørn Vinje
Vebjørn Walnum Vinje (born 7 April 1995) is a Norwegian footballer who plays as a defender for Stjørdals-Blink. Club career Vinje was born in Nesna Municipality. He made his senior debut for Nesna IL on the fifth tier in 2011, before moving in autumn to attend the Norwegian School of Elite Sport in Bærum Municipality. He briefly joined the youth ranks of Stabæk before fielding in the 2012 season for Bærum. Ahead of the 2013 season he quit his school, moved back to Nesna and started playing for the regional greats Mo IL. He joined Bodø/Glimt in the summer of 2014, but in the remainder of the season he only played as far as their B team. He made his senior debut for Bodø/Glimt on 8 November 2015 against Stabæk; Bodø/Glimt won 6–1. On 1 April, he joined Mo on loan. Nesna Municipality
Nesna is a List of municipalities of Norway, municipality in Nordland Counties of Norway, county, Norway. It is part of the Helgeland Districts of Norway, traditional region. The administrative centre of the municipality is the Nesna (village), village of Nesna. Other villages in Nesna include Handnesneset, Husby, Norway, Husby, Saura, Nordland, Saura, and Vikholmen. The municipality consists of the three main islands Tomma, Hugla (known as "Hugløy" by its inhabitants), and Handnesøya, and one peninsula that bears the name of the municipality, Nesna. Norwegian First Division
The Norwegian First Division, also called 1. divisjon () and OBOS-ligaen (due to sponsoring ties with :no:OBOS, OBOS), is the second-highest level of the Norwegian football league system. Each year, the top finishing teams in the 1. divisjon are promoted to the Eliteserien, and the lowest finishing teams are relegated to 2. divisjon. 1. divisjon was previously known as 2. divisjon (1963–1990) and replaced regional league Landsdelsserien (1951–1962) after the latter was dissolved after the 1961–62 Landsdelsserien, 1961–62 season. The 2016 Tippeligaen was the 72nd completed season of top-tier Association football, football in Norway. The competition began on 11 March 2016. Due to the UEFA Euro 2016, 2016 UEFA European Championship, there was a break between the rounds played on 29 May and 3 July. The decisive matches of the home-and-away season were played on 6 November 2016. A promotion/relegation play-off between the third-from-bottom team of the Tippeligaen and the winner of the promotion play-offs of the 2016 1. divisjon was contested on 30 November and 4 December 2016.
