Madhav Vaze
Madhav Vaze (21 October 1939 – 7 May 2025) was an Indian actor. He acted and directed mainly in theatre and had a few stints in films. Early life Vaze was born on 21 October 1939. He lived in Pune in his formative years. Career Vaze started out his career as a child artist in the critically acclaimed film ''Shyamchi Aai''. In 2009, Vaze made a guest appearance in the Bollywood film ''3 Idiots''. Director Aamir Khan expressed that he would like to work with Vaze in the theatre. In 2013, Vaze directed a production of ''Hamlet'' in Marathi, translated by Parshuram Deshpande and featuring Kanak Datye and Neha Mahajan. He was also an English lecturer at the Nowrosjee Wadia College in Pune. In March 2015, he appeared in the Vodafone m-Pesa advertisement as Babuji. Death Vaze died in Pune on 7 May 2025, at the age of 85. Ramkrishnabuwa Vaze
Ramkrishnabuwa Vaze, also known as Vazebuwa, (28 November 1871 – 5 May 1945) was a Hindustani Classical musician of the Gwalior tradition known for his impact on popularizing classical music and its impression on Natyageet in the early half of the 20th century. Background Born in Vazare, Maharashtra in 1871, Vaze lost his father at an early age and was brought up by his mother. He studied briefly in school. With an interest in music surpassing academics, Vaze's mother helped him take lessons in music from several teachers, spending several years moving around. He learned from musicians like Balwantrai Pohre and Vitthoba Hadap of Malwan. After being married and taking up household duties, Vaze set out to pursue music. Sachin Hindurao Vaze () (born 22 February 1972) is a former Indian police officer who served as an Inspector#India, Assistant Police Inspector in Mumbai Police (under the Maharashtra Police). He was dismissed from service by Mumbai Police Commissioner under Article 311 (2) (b) without a departmental enquiry. He is currently in the custody of the National Investigation Agency for his alleged involvement in the Antilia bomb scare and the murder of Mansukh Hiren. He was a member of Shiv Sena (1966–2022), Shiv Sena. Mirza Shafi Vazeh
Mirza Shafi Vazeh (; ; died 16 November 1852) was an Azerbaijani poet and teacher. Under the pseudonym "Vazeh", which means "expressive, clear", he wrote in both Azerbaijani and Persian, developing the traditions of poetry in both languages. He compiled the first anthology of Azerbaijani poetry and a Tatar-Russian dictionary for the Tiflis gymnasium with Russian teacher Ivan Grigoriev. He wrote multiple ''ghazals'', ''mukhammases,'' '' mathnawis'' and '' rubais''. His poems are mostly intimate, lyrical and satirical. The main theme of Vazeh's works is the glorification of romantic love and the joy of life, but in some of his poems, he denounces the vices of feudal society and opposes slavery and religious fanaticism. The German poet Friedrich von Bodenstedt, who took oriental language lessons from Vazeh, published translations of Vazeh's poems in his book ''A Thousand and One Days in the East'' in 1850.
