Vasile Sebastian Dîncu (; born 25 November 1961) is a Romanian politician, sociologist, professor and writer who served as Deputy Prime Minister in the Cioloș Cabinet and was Minister of National Defence in the Ciucă Cabinet. Biography Vasile Dîncu was born on 25 November 1961 in Năsăud, a town now in Bistrița-Năsăud County. Dîncu is a member of the Social Democratic Party (PSD) since 2019, having previously been part of the party from 2000 to 2008. He has also been a Member of the European Parliament, of the Party of European Socialists (PES) and a Senator of Romania. Vasile Demetrius (pen name of Vasile Dumitrescu; October1, 1878March15, 1942) was an Austria-Hungary, Austro-Hungarian-born Romanian prose writer, poet and translator. Born in Șcheii Brașovului, his parents were Dumitru Ogea, who built and maintained wood-burning stoves, and his wife Elisabeta (''née'' Bratu-Stinghe). While in school, his name was changed to Dumitrescu, while the sobriquet Demetrius was bestowed upon him in 1899 by Gala Galaction, a classmate at Saint Sava National College, Saint Sava High School, along with N. Vasile Deheleanu (12 August 1910 – 30 April 2003) was a Romanian footballer who played in midfield and coach. Club career Vasile Deheleanu was born on 12 August 1910 in Temesvár, Austria-Hungary, growing up in the Mehala neighborhood. He started playing junior level football at local club, Unirea. In 1925 he moved to neighboring club, Politehnica where he met Tony Cargnelli which he considered the best coach of his career. Vasile Conta (; ; November 15, 1845 – April 21, 1882) was a Romanian philosopher, poet, and politician. The son of a priest, he was born in Ghindăoani, a village in Bălțătești commune, Neamț County. He attended primary school in Târgu Neamț (where he was a classmate of Ion Creangă), and graduated from the Academia Mihăileană in Iași in 1868. Beneficiary of a fellowship, he went to study in 1871 in Belgium, first in Antwerp, and then at the Free University of Bruxelles, from which he graduated with a law degree in 1872. Upon returning to Romania, he was appointed professor at the University of Iași's Law School. In 1873, he started attending the meetings of the Junimea literary society, where he gave lectures. Vasile Cijevschi
Vasile Gheorghe Cijevschi (; also credited as Cișevschi, Cijevschii, Cijevski, Cijewsky, or Tchizhevsky; October 17, 1880 – July 14, 1931) was a Bessarabian and Romanian politician, administrator and writer. Originally a career officer and Orientalist in service to the Russian Empire, he was dispatched to the Far East, in Vladivostok and Khabarovsk, seeing action in the Russo-Japanese War. He was wounded and shielded from active duty, but returned with the start of World War I, managing to survive the Battle of Tannenberg. By the time of the February Revolution, he was a civil servant in Bessarabia, and an affiliate of the Octobrist Party.
