Vary (, ) is a village in Zakarpattia Oblast (province) of western Ukraine. It is located around southeast of Berehove at the confluence of the rivers Tisza and Borzsova, not far from the Ukrainian- Hungarian border. A raion (also spelt rayon) is a type of administrative unit of several post-Soviet states. The term is used for both a type of subnational entity and a division of a city. The word is from the French (meaning 'honeycomb, department'), and is commonly translated as ' district' in English. Berehove Raion (; ) is a raions of Ukraine, raion (district) in Zakarpattia Oblast, in the westernmost corner of Ukraine. The administrative center is Berehove. For many centuries the territory of the district was part of Bereg County.
