VSE (operating System)
VSEn (''Virtual Storage Extended'') is an operating system for IBM mainframe computers, the latest one in the DOS/360 lineage, which originated in 1965. It is less common than z/OS and is mostly used on smaller machines. DOS/VSE was introduced in 1979 as a successor to DOS/VS; in turn, DOS/VSE was succeeded by VSE/SP version 1 in 1983, and VSE/SP version 2 in 1985. In the late 1980s, there was a widespread perception among VSE customers that IBM was planning to discontinue VSE and migrate its customers to MVS instead, although IBM relented and agreed to continue to produce new versions of VSE. In February 2005, IBM announced z/VSE as successor to VSE/ESA 2.7, which was named to reflect the new System z branding for IBM's mainframe product line. In June 2021, 21st Century Software Inc announced that it had licensed the z/VSE source code from IBM with the intention of developing new versions of the operating system. Odakyu 50000 Series VSE
The or VSE (Vault Super Express) was an electric multiple unit (EMU) train type operated by Odakyu Electric Railway on ''Romancecar'' services in Japan. Two 10-car articulated sets were introduced in March 2005, manufactured by Nippon Sharyo. The type won a Japanese Good Design Award in 2005, and a Blue Ribbon Award in 2006. On 11 March 2022, the train type was withdrawn from regular service, and reserved for use on special services only. The last trainset was retired on 10 December 2023. Design Designed by architect Noriaki Okabe, the 50000 series was developed in response to a decrease in limited express service usage to the Hakone region. Body construction consisted of double-skin aluminium. The 50000 series had regenerative brakes, and was equipped with air suspension and tilting for passenger comfort. Vadodara Stock Exchange
Vadodara Stock Exchange (VSE) was a stock exchange located in the city of Vadodara, and fully owned by Government of India in Western India. It was established in 1990 at Vadodara. It is the only existing stock exchange in the state of Gujarat along with Ahmedabad. It is recognized by the Securities Contract (Regulations) Act of 1956 as a permanent stock exchange. From a humble beginning in 1986 with the Vadodara Stock Brokers' Association having 150 members, it was incorporated on 22 January 1990 as Vadodara Stock Exchange Limited.
