Urququcha (Huancavelica)
__NOTOC__ Orcococha (possibly from Quechua ''urqu'' male; mountain, ''qucha'' lake, "mountain lake" or "male lake") is a lake in Peru located in the Huancavelica Region, Castrovirreyna Province, Santa Ana District, and in the Huaytará Province, Pilpichaca District. It is situated east of Lake Choclococha and northwest of the smaller lake named Caracocha. Quechua Language
Quechua (, ; ), usually called ("people's language") in Quechuan languages, is an indigenous language family spoken by the Quechua peoples, primarily living in the Peruvian Andes. Derived from a common ancestral language, it is the most widely spoken pre-Columbian language family of the Americas, with an estimated 8–10 million speakers as of 2004.Adelaar 2004, pp. 167–168, 255. Huancavelica Region
Huancavelica () is a department and region in Peru with an area of and a population of 347,639 ( 2017 census). The capital is the city Huancavelica. The region is bordered by the departments of Lima and Ica in the west, Junín in the north, and Ayacucho in the east. Political division The department is divided into seven provinces.
