UK National Defence Association
The UK National Defence Association (UKNDA) is a pressure group campaigning in support of Britain's Armed Forces and calling for an increase in the UK defence budget. It is Tri-Service (Navy, Army, Air Force). Formed in 2007 by Admiral Lord Boyce, RAF Marshal Lord Craig and former Foreign Secretary Lord Owen, its Patrons are Field Marshal Lord Guthrie, Admiral Lord West and Lord Campbell (former Liberal Democrat leader). Its Founder-President was Winston S. Churchill (grandson of former Prime Minister Sir Winston Churchill) and Vice-Presidents include Sir Richard Dearlove (former head of the Secret Intelligence Service), Major-General Patrick Cordingley (commander of the Desert Rats in the Gulf War), Colonel Tim Collins (commander of 1st Royal Irish Regt in the Iraq War), and Colonel Bob Stewart (commander of United Nations forces in Bosnia). Richard Dearlove
Sir Richard Billing Dearlove (born 23 January 1945) was head of the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6), a role known informally as "C", from 1999 until 6 May 2004. He was in his role as head of MI6 during the invasion of Iraq. He was blamed by the Iraq Inquiry for providing unverified intelligence about weapons of mass destruction to the Prime Minister, Tony Blair. He currently serves as Chair of Board of Trustees of University of London. He previously served as Master of Pembroke College at the University of Cambridge from 2004 to 2015. Early life Dearlove was born at Gorran Haven in the county of Cornwall, the son of Jack Dearlove, a 1948 Olympic silver medallist in rowing. He received his early formal education at Monkton Combe School near Bath, and the Kent School in Kent, Connecticut, and graduated from Queens' College, Cambridge with a Masters degree in History. Jean Louis Marie Le Pen (, born 20 June 1928) is a French far-right politician who served as President of the National Front from 1972 to 2011. He also served as Honorary President of the National Front from 2011 to 2015. Le Pen graduated from the faculty of law in Paris in 1949. Western Goals Institute (WGI) was a Far-right politics, far-right pressure group and think-tank in Britain, formed in 1989 from Western Goals UK, which was founded in 1985 as an offshoot of the U.S. Western Goals Foundation.''Labour Research'', November 1988, p. 2. It was anti-communism, anti-communist and opposed non-white immigration. Early aims The Western Goals Institute was founded (as Western Goals UK) in May 1985 as the British branch of the American organisation the Western Goals Foundation. In March 1987, Western Goals UK had filed a complaint with the Charity Commission for England and Wales against three major British charities, Oxfam, War on Want, and Christian Aid stating that they were involved in political campaigning work (which was then contrary to UK charity law) in support of left-wing organizations due to their campaigns against apartheid in South Africa.
