Urška Žigart
Urška Žigart () (born 4 December 1996) is a Slovenian professional racing cyclist, who currently rides for UCI Women's WorldTeam . Žigart has won the Slovenian National Time Trial Championships four times (2020, 2022–2024), and won the Slovenian National Road Race Championships in 2024. Career In 2020, she won the Slovenian National Time Trial Championships and competed in the Tour de l'Ardeche and Giro Rosa. She finished third in the Slovenian National Road Race Championships behind her teammate Urša Pintar and Špela Kern of the . In November 2020, Žigart signed a contract for the 2021 season with the team, later renamed . In 2022, Žigart won the Slovenian national time trial championship for the second time – repeating this in 2023 and 2024. In 2024, Žigart also won the Slovenian national road race championship. The fifth edition of the Amstel Gold Race (women's race), Amstel Gold Race for Women was a road bicycle racing, road cycling one-day race held on 15 April 2018 in the Netherlands. It was the seventh event of the 2018 UCI Women's World Tour. The 31st Giro Donne, women's Giro d'Italia, or Giro Rosa, was held from 11 to 19 September 2020. It is considered the most prestigious stage race of the 2020 in women's road cycling, women's calendar and of the 2020 UCI Women's World Tour. The is an annual women's cycle stage race around Italy. First held in 1988, the race is currently part of the UCI Women's World Tour, and is currently organised by RCS Sport, the organisers of the men's Giro d'Italia. The race was previously branded as the Giro d'Italia Femminile prior to 2013, the Giro Rosa from 2013 to 2020, and the Giro Donne from 2021 to 2023. The race has been considered the most prestigious stage race in women's road cycling, with some teams and media referring to the race as a 'Grand Tour'.
