Urs Kryenbühl
Urs Kryenbühl (born 28 January 1994) is a Swiss World Cup alpine ski racer, and specializes in the speed events of Downhill and Super-G. He is part of the Swiss-Ski national team . Career Kryenbühl made his World Cup debut in December 2014 in the Santa Caterina downhill, and finished in 25th place. His first podium was also in northern Italy, at Bormio in December 2019. Biography Kryenbühl comes from Unteriberg in the canton of Schwyz . As a 15-year-old, he took part in FIS races from November 2009 . Initially, there were no noteworthy successes. He accomplished the Junior National races of 2012 whereupon he came to the Europa Cup in 2013. In the same month he achieved his first victory in a FIS race. Gradually, a specialization in the fast activities began to emerge. His best European Cup result was in the winter of 2012/13 and ended up in the 21st place. Stelvio is a FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, World Cup Downhill (ski competition), downhill piste in Northern Italy, northern Italy was built and opened in 1985. It is located on Vallecetta mountain in Bormio and debuted at the FIS Alpine World Ski Championships, World Championships in FIS Alpine World Ski Championships 1985, 1985. Lauberhorn (downhill Ski Course)
Lauberhorn is the longest and oldest active FIS Alpine Ski World Cup, World Cup Downhill (ski competition), downhill ski course in the world, which is located and named after the Lauberhorn, same name mountain in Wengen, Switzerland, debuted in 1930. As Switzerland is and always was military neutral, downhill competitions were held even during World War II. It is part of the Lauberhorn ski races, Lauberhornrennen, the oldest active alpine ski competition in the world and the course is very famous after extraordinary scenery with Eiger, Mönch und Jungfrau mountains in Bernese Alps. It is the longest ski course in World Cup circuit, almost 4.5 kilometres long. And with incline of 42 degrees (90%) at the iconic "Hundschopf", also course with the steepest section in the circuit. Dominik Paris
Dominik Paris (born 14 April 1989) is an Italian alpine ski racer, who specializes in speed events of super-G and downhill. He was the world champion in super-G, as the gold medalist in 2019 at Åre, Sweden. Racing career Paris made his World Cup debut in December 2008 and won his first World Cup race in late December 2012 in Italy, a dead-heat tie with Hannes Reichelt in the downhill on the Pista Stelvio at Bormio. Aksel Lund Svindal was just one-hundredth of a second behind for third, and Klaus Kröll was fourth, just one hundredth behind Svindal. It was the closest top-four finish in World Cup downhill history (0.02 of a second) and the first tie in a men's downhill in nearly 35 years (January 1978).
