Budva (Cyrillic script, Cyrillic: Будва, or ) is a town in the Coastal Montenegro, Coastal region of Montenegro. It had 27,445 inhabitants as of 2023, and is the centre of Budva Municipality. The 2021–22 Serbian SuperLiga (known as the Linglong Tire SuperLiga for sponsorship reasons) was the 16th season of the Serbian SuperLiga. Red Star Belgrade, Red Star were the defending champions, having won their 7th SuperLiga and 32nd domestic title in the 2020–21 Serbian SuperLiga, previous season. Start and end dates, fixtures and competition format were released on 22 June 2021. Summary The number of teams in the league for this season was reduced from 20 to 16 from last season which had increased number of teams due to COVID-19 pandemic. Before the start of the season, on 16 June 2021, it was announced that number of teams in the league will again be reduced at the end of season - this time to 14. Contested by 16 clubs, it operates on a system of promotion and relegation with the Serbian First League. Maltese Super Cup
The Maltese Super Cup is an annual super cup tie held in Malta between the champions of the previous Maltese Premier League season and the holders of the Maltese FA Trophy. If the Premier League champion also won the FA Trophy, the league runners-up takes its place as the opposition. Up till 2003, the match used to be played at the end of the season, however, this was altered to be played around mid-December. The 2014–15 Montenegrin Second League () was the ninth season of the competition as the second top football league in Montenegro. The league played its first games of the season on August 17, 2014 and its final matches were played on May 30, 2015. Format of competition Twelve teams participate in this league.
