Universomo
Universomo Ltd. was a Finland, Finnish video game developer based in Tampere, Finland, founded in 2002, and acquired by THQ on May 9, 2007. Universomo also had offices in Helsinki, Finland and San Diego, United States. The studio focused on games for mobile phones, the iPhone and the N-Gage (device), N-Gage. On January 12, 2010, THQ announced the Nintendo DS title ''Beat City'', developed by Universomo, marking the developer's first entry to the Handheld game console, handheld gaming market. On March 2, 2010, Universomo's closure was announced. This left THQ Wireless without any studios under its umbrella, and development of its games would be outsourced to external studios. Beat City
''Beat City'' is a 2010 rhythm video game developed by Universomo and published by THQ for the Nintendo DS. It was released on April 20, 2010, in North America, and in Europe on June 11, 2010. It was the first- and possibly only- video game to be developed for a handheld system by Universomo, who mostly worked on mobile games and was shuttered a month before the game's release. Production Production on the game took place in mid-to-late 2009 and early 2010. It was confirmed for a release in April 2010 on January 12, 2010. Plot The game stars a resident of Beat City who loves music named Synchronizer. He meets a purple alien whale named Groovy Whale who gives him the ability to control music and implants a giant speaker in his head. His hometown is being taken over by an evil music-hating organization called the Cacophony, led by failed opera singer Dame Isolde Minor. Bionicle Heroes
''Bionicle Heroes'' is a 2006 video game published by Eidos Interactive and TT Games Publishing and based on Lego's Bionicle line of constructible action figures. The game was released in November 2006 on PlayStation 2, Xbox 360, GameCube, Microsoft Windows, Game Boy Advance, and Nintendo DS; a Nintendo Wii version was later released in April 2007. The home console and PC versions were developed by Traveller's Tales, while Amaze Entertainment developed the handheld versions. A version of the game for mobile phones, developed by Universomo, was also released. The home console and PC versions of the game are third-person shooters, while the Game Boy Advance version is a run 'n' gun shoot 'em up and the Nintendo DS version is a first-person shooter. ''Stuntman: Ignition'' is the sequel to the video game '' Stuntman'' for the Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 2, and mobile phones. The Xbox 360 demo was released on the Xbox Live Marketplace on July 12, 2007. De Blob
''De Blob'' (Stylized as ''de BLOB'') is a puzzle-platform game developed by Blue Tongue Entertainment and published by THQ for the Wii. Players explore and liberate an alien city from the evil and monochromatic INKT Corporation that has taken over the city and outlawed all colour and fun from daily life. Playing as Blob, players embark on a quest to re-animate the fictional Chroma City and free it from the INKT Corporation by splattering buildings, landmarks, and citizens with colour. Aside from the original version, a cancelled version for the Nintendo DS was being developed by Helixe. The game was originally scheduled for a February 2008 release, but was delayed and then released on 22 September for the Wii. ''Star Wars: The Force Unleashed'' is a 2008 action-adventure game developed and published by LucasArts, and part of ''The Force Unleashed'' multimedia project.
