''Un autre monde'' (''Another World'') is the fifth and final album by French rock band Téléphone, released on 7 May 1984 by EMI France. The album features John Entwistle (of English rock band The Who) playing the horn. Their first, self-titled album was released in 1977; by the end of the decade they were one of the biggest French rock bands in the world, opening shows for The Rolling Stones in Paris, Quebec, the United States and Japan. The Who
The Who are an English Rock music, rock band formed in London in 1964. Lynn Goldsmith (born 1948) is an American recording artist, film director, celebrity portrait photographer, and rock and roll photographer. She has also made fine art photography with conceptual images and her paintings. Taschen, Rizzoli, and Abrams have published books on her work. In 1985, she received a World Press Photo award. In the 1980s, she wrote songs and performed as Will Powers. In 2023, she was part of a U.S. Supreme Court case dealing with the limits of fair use concerning a series of Andy Warhol silkscreen portraits based on a Goldsmith photo of the musician Prince. François Ravard
François Ravard (born April 26, 1957) is a French record and film producer. Early life François Ravard was born on April 26, 1957. His parents are Nadine Milhet and Jacques Ravard. His father, member of the production team of a performance of ''The Bald Soprano'' (a play by Ionesco), took him backstage as a child. His vocation sprang from that event. In 1975, at the Lycée Edgar-Poe, Ravard met Olivier Caudron - aka Olive - who introduced him to Jean-Louis Aubert. Paul "Wix" Wickens is an English musician best known as keyboardist and musical director of Paul McCartney's touring band since 1989. In a career that started in 1973, Wickens has also worked with artists including Nik Kershaw, Bob Dylan, Joni Mitchell, Bon Jovi, Edie Brickell, Kevin Coyne, David Gilmour and many others. Louis Laurent Bertignac (; born 23 February 1954) is a French guitarist, vocalist and songwriter. An ex Shakin' Street member and a founding member in 1976 of the rock band Téléphone, he formed Bertignac et les Visiteurs after Téléphone split in 1986. Tony Visconti produced his first solo album, ''Elle et Louis'' (1993) and Chris Kimsey the second, '' '96''. In 2004, he produced, arranged and played guitar on the debut album by Carla Bruni, '' Quelqu'un m'a dit''. Jean-Louis Aubert (, born 12 April 1955) is a French singer-songwriter, guitarist, composer and producer. He went on a solo career after the split of the rock band Téléphone that he co-founded. Early life Born in Nantua, Ain, France in 1955, Aubert and his two sisters moved with his parents to Senlis, Oise, where his father was a sub-prefect. He was raised by their service people. In 1965, his family moved to Paris. Although he was in the scouts and the choir, Aubert was a difficult child. Later, he went to school at Lycée Pasteur (Neuilly-sur-Seine) with his friends Louis Bertignac and Olivier Caudron. At the age of 15, they founded their first band, Masturbation. John Entwistle
John Alec Entwistle (9 October 194427 June 2002) was an English musician, best known as the bass guitarist for the rock band the Who. Entwistle's music career spanned over four decades. Nicknamed "The Ox" and "Thunderfingers", he was the band's only member with formal musical training and also provided backing and occasional lead vocals. Entwistle was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of the Who in 1990. Renowned for his musical abilities, Entwistle is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most influential rock bass guitarists of all time.
