Uganda’s National Basketball Team
The Uganda national basketball team also known as The Silverbacks represents Uganda in international basketball competitions. It is administered by the Federation of Uganda Basketball Associations (FUBA). Uganda made its debut at the FIBA Africa Championship at its 2015 FIBA Africa Championship, 2015 edition in Tunisia. There, Uganda beat Zimbabwe national basketball team, Zimbabwe 72–64 to earn its first victory at the continent's prime tournament. Outlook At the AfroBasket 2021 qualification, Uganda had group plays against Egypt men's national basketball team, Egypt, Morocco men's national basketball team, Morocco and Cape Verde men's national basketball team, Cape Verde. George Galanopoulos
George Galanopoulos is a Greek-British commercial pilot and businessperson. He is best known as the co-founder of London Executive Aviation where he served as the managing director and then the CEO after being rebranded to Luxaviation UK. He is a Board Member of The BBGA, British Business and General Aviation Association (BBGA). Early life Galanopoulous moved to Britain at age 20, to study computer science. Career Galanopoulos began his career in 1985 as a commercial pilot.
