USA Football is the National Governing Body (NGB) of American football in the United States, having received formal certification from the U.S. Olympic & Paralympic Committee on April 17, 2025, becoming the 38th Summer Olympics National Governing Body. This distinction marked a significant milestone in American football history as USA Football became the sport’s first National Governing Body. Vanita Krouch
Vanita Krouch (born September 1980) is an American flag footballer. She plays quarterback for the United States women's national flag football team. Early life She was born in a refugee camp in the Philippines after her mother, Phonnary Krouch, and three older brothers had fled the regime of the Khmer Rouge in Cambodia. When she was two months old the family moved to the United States. She grew up in Texas and played basketball for four seasons at Southern Methodist University for the SMU Mustangs, graduating in 2003. She didn’t start playing flag football until after her collegiate career had ended. Career After graduating SMU in 2003, Krouch continued to play basketball in semi-pro and adult leagues. She started playing flag football in 2006 after looking for local Dallas-area activities. The 2017 World Games (), also known as Wrocław 2017, was the tenth edition of the World Games, held from 20 to 30 July 2017 in Wrocław, Poland. The World Games were organized by the Wrocław Organizing Committee. Wrocław was selected as the host city in January 2012 in Lausanne, over Budapest, Hungary. Mark Hodge Murphy (born July 13, 1955) is an American professional American football, football executive and former player who is the List of Green Bay Packers presidents, president and chief executive officer (CEO) for the Green Bay Packers of the National Football League (NFL). Murphy, a Safety (American football position), safety, went undrafted in the 1977 NFL draft after playing college football at Colgate University. He was signed by the Washington Redskins, where he played for eight seasons from 1977 to 1984.
