UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships – Mixed Team Relay
The UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships – Mixed team relay is the annual world championship in the discipline of cyclo-cross for mixed sex and mixed age-category teams, organised by the world governing body, the Union Cycliste Internationale. The event was first run as a test event in 2022. Rainbow Jersey
The rainbow jersey is the distinctive cycling jersey, jersey worn by the reigning World Cycling Championship, world champion in a cycling discipline, since 1927. The jersey is predominantly white with five horizontal bands in the Union Cycliste Internationale, UCI colours around the chest. From the bottom up the colours are: green, yellow, black, red and blue; the same colours that appear in the rings on the Olympic flag. The tradition is applied to all disciplines, including road bicycle racing, road racing, track cycling, track racing, cyclo-cross, BMX, Trials and the disciplines within mountain biking. A world champion must wear the jersey when competing in the same discipline, category and speciality for which the title was won. Zoe Jane Bäckstedt (born 24 September 2004) is a Welsh professional racing cyclist riding for UCI Women's World Tour Team , competing across road, cyclo-cross and track racing disciplines. At the 2021 UCI Road World Championships, Bäckstedt won the gold medal in the junior women's road race, and silver in the junior women's time trial. A year later, she upgraded junior time-trial silver to gold, winning the event by over a minute and a half before successfully defending her road race title with a dominant solo victory, and her third road world championship at junior level. Catrin "Cat" Ferguson (born 27 April 2006) is a British racing cyclist, competing across road, cyclo-cross and track racing disciplines. She is a four-time World Junior Champion, holding four titles across two disciplines, all won in 2024. She is the 2024 Junior Track Cycling World Champion in both the team pursuit and the omnium, and the 2024 Junior Road Cycling World Champion in both the time trial and road race. Fem van Empel (born 3 September 2002) is a Dutch professional racing cyclist. In January 2021, she won the women's under-23 race at the 2021 UCI Cyclo-cross World Championships. During the 2022–2023 season she won the women's elite race at the World Championships and the European Cyclo-cross Championships. On 22 January 2023, she secured overall victory at the UCI Cyclo-cross World Cup ( 2022–23). On 16 February 2023 at Brussels, Fem clinched the X20 Badkamers Trophy.
