Tutzing Station
Tutzing station is currently the only station of the Bavarian town of Tutzing and a station on the Munich S-Bahn. It is classified by Deutsche Bahn as a category 4 station and has three platform tracks. It is served daily by about 130 trains operated by Deutsche Bahn, including 50 S-Bahn trains. Tutzing station is located on the Munich–Garmisch-Partenkirchen railway and is the beginning of the Kochelsee Railway to Kochel. Previously, there was another station in Tutzing at Diemendorf on the Munich– Garmisch-Partenkirchen line, which was closed for passenger traffic in 1984. Location The station is located west of the town centre of Tutzing. The station building is located east of the railway tracks on Bahnhofstraße (station street), which links the station to the town centre, and it has the address of Bahnhofstraße 26. Mittenwald is a German municipality in the district of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, in Bavaria. Geography Mittenwald is located approximately 16 kilometres to the south-east of Garmisch-Partenkirchen. DBAG Class 425
The Class 425 and Class 426 EMUs are a class of electric multiple units built by a consortium of Siemens, Bombardier and DWA, and are operated by DB Regio in Germany. They are essentially the same vehicle design, but the Class 425 EMU consists of four carriages, whereas the Class 426 EMUs only have two carriages.It's produced in H0 scale to a few train model railway. Description It is a high-powered, light-weight vehicle with high acceleration for short- and medium-distance services with frequent stops. The aluminium superstructure was built as flat as possible, both to minimize drag and to ease automated cleaning. Silberling
Silberling is the colloquial name for the n-coaches of the Deutsche Bundesbahn, a type of regional passenger coach of which more than 5,000 units were built from 1958 to 1981. Nearly all of the coaches have undergone extensive modernisation – these modernised units are widely known as ''Mintling'', ''Grünling'' ("greenling") or ''Rotling'' ("redling") after their exterior colours. The term ''Buntling'' ("colourfulling") is used to denote refurbished Silberling coaches in general. Origin of the name The term ''Silberling'' derives from the coaches' stainless steel body which gave them a unique look during their term of service. DB Class 111
The Baureihe 111 is a class of electric locomotives built for the Deutsche Bundesbahn, and now owned by Deutsche Bahn AG. History Class 111 is the successor of the Class 110 express '' Einheitslokomotive''. Since demand for fast electric locomotives was high even after production of the 110 ended, the Deutsche Bundesbahn (DB) decided to commission a new batch in the 1970s. The bogies were replaced with a different type, significantly improving the locomotive's behaviour at higher speeds. Tutzing S-Bahn Station - Geo
Tutzing is a municipality in the district of Starnberg in Bavaria, Germany, on the west bank of the Starnberger See. Just 40 km south-west of Munich and with good views of the Alps, the town was traditionally a favorite vacation spot for those living in the city. In 1873 Johannes Brahms spent four summer months in Tutzing, completing his String Quartets Opus 51 and writing the Haydn Variations.
