Trygve Owren
Trygve Owren (7 October 1912 – 3 March 1987) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from Oppland in 1965, but was not re-elected in 1969. He had previously served in the position of deputy representative during the terms 1958–1961 and 1961–1965. During his second term as a deputy, in September 1963, he replaced the deceased Guttorm Granum. The Conservative Party or The Right ( nb, Høyre, nn, Høgre, , H; se, Olgešbellodat) is a liberal-conservative political party in Norway. It is the major party of the Norwegian centre-right, and was the leading party in government as part of the Solberg cabinet from 2013 to 2021. The Storting ( no, Stortinget ) (lit. the Great Thing) is the supreme legislature of Norway, established in 1814 by the Constitution of Norway. It is located in Oslo. The unicameral parliament has 169 members and is elected every four years based on party-list proportional representation in nineteen multi-seat constituencies. A member of Stortinget is known in Norwegian as a ''stortingsrepresentant'', literally "Storting representative". The assembly is led by a president and, since 2009, five vice presidents: the presidium. The members are allocated to twelve standing committees as well as four procedural committees. Oppland
Oppland is a former county in Norway which existed from 1781 until its dissolution on 1 January 2020. The old Oppland county bordered the counties of Trøndelag, Møre og Romsdal, Sogn og Fjordane, Buskerud, Akershus, Oslo and Hedmark. The county administration was located in the town of Lillehammer. Merger On 1 January 2020, the neighboring counties of Oppland and Hedmark were merged to form the new Innlandet county. Both Oppland and Hedmark were the only landlocked counties of Norway, and the new Innlandet county is the only landlocked county in Norway. The two counties had historically been one county that was divided in 1781. Historically, the region was commonly known as "Opplandene". Guttorm Granum (4 July 1904 – 14 September 1963) was a Norwegian politician for the Conservative Party. He was born in Vardal. He was elected to the Norwegian Parliament from the Market towns of Hedmark and Oppland counties in 1950, and was re-elected on two occasions. Fåberg
Fåberg is a former municipality in the old Oppland county, Norway. The municipality existed from 1838 until 1964. Now, it is part of Lillehammer Municipality in Innlandet county. The administrative centre was the village of Fåberg. History The prestegjeld of ''Faaberg'' (later spelled ''Fåberg'') was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt law).
