Trygve Dalseg
Olaf Trygve Dalseg (15 September 1898 – 12 April 1987) was a Norwegian marketing agent. He was born in Ringebu. He worked for the magazine ''Hjemmet'' and newspaper ''Morgenbladet'' and was also involved in film (directing the now-lost 1923 film ''Strandhugg paa Kavringen'') before starting a career in marketing and advertising. His own marketing agency was named Dalseg Promotion. He was also affiliated with Institute of Marketing (), and was an honorary member of Norwegian Association of Advertising Agencies who owned the Institute. He received an honorary medal from the Nordic association in 1956. Ringebu
is a municipality in Innlandet county, Norway. It is located in the traditional district of Gudbrandsdal. The administrative centre of the municipality is the village of Vålebru (the village is also known as ''Ringebu''). The municipality is the 85th largest by area out of the 356 municipalities in Norway. Ringebu is the 195th most populous municipality in Norway with a population of 4,385. The municipality's population density is and its population has decreased by 3.9% over the previous 10-year period. General information The prestegjeld of Ringebu was established as a municipality on 1 January 1838 (see formannskapsdistrikt law). ''Morgenbladet'' is a Norwegian weekly, newspaper, covering politics, culture and science. History ''Morgenbladet'' was founded in 1819 by the book printer Niels Wulfsberg. The paper is the country's first daily newspaper; however, Adresseavisen was founded earlier. For a long time, ''Morgenbladet'' was also the country's top-ranking newspaper by circulation. Adolf Bredo Stabell, chief editor from 1831 to 1857, made ''Morgenbladet'' an important force of opposition, both in politics and literature. Among its writers during this period was the author Henrik Wergeland. The leadership of Christian Friele, from 1857 to 1893, turned ''Morgenbladet'' into the leading conservative news outlet in Norway. Strandhugg Paa Kavringen
''Strandhugg paa Kavringen'' (The Coastal Raid at Kavringen) is a 65-minute Norwegian film from 1923 that is now considered lost. The screenplay was written by Gunnar Nilsen-Vig, who was also one of the film's directors. Egil Sætren designed the sets, and Svein Lysell, Lizzie Florelius, Katja Wallier, and Leif Enger appeared in the main roles. Leif Enger was also responsible for makeup. The film also featured the Chat Noir ballet. The plot has several similarities to Ludvig Holberg's well-known comedy ''Jeppe on the Hill''. Plot A poor man is sent by his wife to buy fish. On the way to the fish market, he gets drunk, using the money he was supposed to buy the fish with. The man does not dare go home without fish, and he steals a small boat with fishing gear to try his luck. He does not catch any fish, and he drinks the rest of the alcohol he has left before he falls asleep in the boat.
