Travis Touchdown
is a fictional character and the main antihero of the video game franchise '' No More Heroes''. 27 years old in the original game, he is both an otaku and a professional assassin, wielding a Beam Katana. He was created by Goichi Suda, and voiced by Kazuya Nakai in Japanese and Robin Atkin Downes in English. He is named after the protagonist of the film ''Paris, Texas'' directed by Wim Wenders. He lives a lifestyle that is often compared to those of average people because of his obsession with anime, professional wrestling, pornography, and action figures; however, this lifestyle has also been called an "uber male fantasy." He has received mostly positive reception, with MSNBC describing his appearance as "richly detailed" and "flamboyantly designed". No More Heroes (video Game)
is a 2007 action-adventure video game for the Wii. It was developed by Grasshopper Manufacture and published by Marvelous Entertainment, Ubisoft, and Rising Star Games. The game was directed, designed, and written by Goichi Suda, also known by his nickname Suda51. The game follows Travis Touchdown, a fan of video games and anime who wins a beam katana in an auction, from which he inadvertently becomes involved in the United Assassins Association and forced to kill assassins higher in rank to prevent other assassins from targeting him. A port of the game, titled '' No More Heroes: Heroes' Paradise'', was released for the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 with additional content in Japan. Unlike the original, the international version of the game was published by Konami, and only the PlayStation 3 version of the game was localized in English. The Narrator is a fictional character and the primary antagonist appearing as the central figure of the 1996 Chuck Palahniuk novel ''Fight Club'', its 1999 film adaptation of the same name, and the comic books '' Fight Club 2'' and '' Fight Club 3''. The character is an insomniac with a split personality, and is depicted as an unnamed everyman (credited in the film as "the Narrator") during the day, who becomes the chaotic and charismatic Tyler Durden at night during periods of insomnia. In 2008, Tyler was selected by ''Empire'' magazine as the greatest movie character of all time, shortly after ''Fight Club'' was voted by ''Empire'' readers as the tenth greatest film of all time.
