Tomaz Druml
Tomaz Druml (born 28 March 1988) is a Slovenian Nordic combined skier who has competed since 2003. His best World Cup finish was ninth on three occasions, occurring in 2009 and 2010. He represented Austria until 2017, when he changed his nationality and decided to compete for Slovenia. Druml has 13 victories in lesser known events. He loves Hemsedal. He was born in Feistritz im Rosental, Carinthia (state), Carinthia, and he is a member of the Carinthian Slovenes, local Slovene-speaking minority. Feistritz An Der Gail
Feistritz an der Gail ( sl, Bistrica na Zilji), often referred to as simply Feistritz (), is a town in the district of Villach-Land in Carinthia in Austria. It is close to the borders with both Italy and Slovenia. The Black Forest to the south of the town borders the Italian comune of Tarvisio, in the Province of Udine. There are several landmarks of importance in and around the town, including Ulli's Herb Garden, the House of Bats, the Parish Church of St. Martin and Mary Magdalene's Chapel. Nordic combined is a winter sport in which athletes compete in cross-country skiing (sport), cross-country skiing and ski jumping. The Nordic combined at the Winter Olympics has been held since the first ever 1924 Winter Olympics, Winter Olympics in 1924, while the FIS Nordic Combined World Cup has been held since 1983. Feistritz im Rosental ( sl, Bistrica v Rožu), often referred to as simply Feistritz (), is a market town in the district of Klagenfurt-Land in the Austrian state of Carinthia. Geography It is located in the ''Rosental'', the U-shaped valley of the Drava river north of the Karawanks mountain range along the Periadriatic Seam. The valley is named after the Carinthian noble house of Ras, who had Rosegg Castle built around 1200. It is a traditional settlement area of Carinthian Slovenes. Carinthia (german: Kärnten ; sl, Koroška ) is the southernmost Austrian state, in the Eastern Alps, and is noted for its mountains and lakes. The main language is German. Carinthian Slovenes or Carinthian Slovenians ( sl, Koroški Slovenci; german: Kärntner Slowenen) are the indigenous minority of Slovene ethnicity, living within borders of the Austrian state of Carinthia, neighboring Slovenia. Their status of the minority group is guaranteed in principle by the Constitution of Austria and under international law, and have seats in the National Ethnic Groups Advisory Council.
