Todd Macdonald
Todd MacDonald (born 1973 in British Columbia, Canada) is a Canadian Australian actor who is best known for his roles on the soap opera '' Neighbours'' and the drama series ''The Secret Life of Us'' and '' Rush''. MacDonald graduated in 1996 from the National Institute of Dramatic Art (NIDA). His ''Neighbours'' stint began in 1996, when he was hired to play Darren Stark, the son of Cheryl Stark ( Caroline Gillmer). The role of Darren had previously been played by Scott Major briefly in 1993. MacDonald departed the series in 1998, returning for guest appearances in 2004 and 2005, and again in 2007 and 2008. In the early 2000s, MacDonald played the recurring role of Nathan Lieberman on ''The Secret Life of Us'' and a supporting role in the drama series '' Rush'' in 2008. MacDonald has also appeared in '' BeastMaster'' and ''Blue Heelers'' and the movie '' The Jammed''. The Jammed
''The Jammed'' is a 2007 film written and directed by Dee McLachlan. The film is a story about human trafficking and the sex slave trade in Melbourne, and the search for three girls trapped by a trafficking syndicate. Court transcripts and actual events were an influence in the production of the film. ''The Jammed'' was nominated for seven AFI Awards, for four FCCA awards and for six IF Awards, winning for best feature film, best script and best music. The film was favourably reviewed by David Stratton and Margaret Pomeranz. Its original distribution plan of a DVD release was altered soon after filmmaker and distributor John L Simpson of Titan View used his own home mortgage to release the film. Queensland Theatre, formerly the Queensland Theatre Company and Royal Queensland Theatre Company, is a professional theatre company based in Brisbane, Australia. David Ives (born July 11, 1950) is an American playwright, screenwriter, and novelist. He is perhaps best known for his comic one-act plays; ''The New York Times'' in 1997 referred to him as the "maestro of the short form". Ives has also written dramatic plays, narrative stories, and screenplays, has adapted French 17th and 18th-century classical comedies, and adapted 33 musicals for New York City's ''Encores!'' series. Libby Munro (born 11 November 1981) is an Australian actress. Biography Munro was born on a cattle station near Charleville, Queensland, before she moved with her family to a property west of Millmerran. She attended Fairholme College in Toowoomba where she became the school's drama captain. She attended The Women's College at University of Queensland and was appointed the cultural director. She appeared in many college productions, particularly of Shakespeare and Alan Ayckbourn plays.
