Todd Agnew
Todd Wilson Agnew (born March 15, 1971, in Dallas, Texas) is a contemporary Christian musician and songwriter. Musical career Agnew's best-known song is " Grace Like Rain", a version of "Amazing Grace", which was featured on his first album, '' Grace Like Rain'', released in June 2003. Agnew wrote this song with his friend, Chris Collins. Since then, Agnew has released five label albums. 2005's '' Reflection of Something'' introduced the popular songs "My Jesus" and "Unchanging One", which are often featured on Contemporary Christian radio stations. In late 2006, after the two highly acclaimed studio projects, he wrote a retelling of the Christmas story on his album entitled '' Do You See What I See?''. His fourth studio project, '' Better Questions'', was released in 2007 and featured the hit single "Our Great God" (a duet featuring CCM artist Rebecca St. James). ''How to Be Loved'' is the fifth studio album by Christian contemporary Christian musician Todd Agnew. The album was released on March 6, 2012 on Ardent Records, Fair Trade Services and Columbia Records. This album saw success on the Christian Albums chart, as well as, the song "God Undefeatable" on the Soft AC/Inspirational chart. The album was produced by Paul Ebersold, Jason Ingram and Rusty Varenkamp. ''Better Questions'' is a Christian rock album by Todd Agnew. His fourth label album, it was released on Ardent Records on July 17, 2007. It features single "Our Great God" (originally by Fernando Ortega and Mac Powell of Third Day) with special guest fellow Christian artist Rebecca St. James. The album also features "Be With You", a song originally by Rich Mullins and "Martyr's Song" which appeared as a CD single that Agnew recorded for Ted Dekker's book by the same name. ''Better Questions'' features twelve other songs. The Special Edition comes with a DVD containing studio footage and Todd's explanation of the meaning of the album, as well as other contents. Reflection Of Something
Reflection of Something is the second label-released album by contemporary Christian songwriter Todd Agnew. The album was released by Ardent Records on August 16, 2005. It features the popular songs "My Jesus", "Unchanging One" and "In the Middle of Me", all of which got much limelight on most modern contemporary Christian music radio stations in America. As is tradition for Agnew, the lyrics that play on the fifth track are entirely taken from the bible. In addition to "Isaiah 6", another tradition of Agnew's is to radically change a hymn into a modern rock song. For this album Agnew took the popular song "It Is Well" and revamped it to his style. Germantown Baptist Church
Germantown Baptist Church is a Baptist megachurch based in Germantown, Tennessee, affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention. The church is 179 years old, and since its founding has moved from its location in downtown Germantown to an over building complex on a campus near the border of Germantown and Collierville on Poplar Avenue. The original building for the church still stands on Germantown Road. Built twenty-one years before the beginning of the Civil War, Germantown Baptist Church is the second oldest church in the city of Germantown. History Pre-Civil War Western Tennessee was still Indian Territory until 1819, but soon after that date Shelby County was open to settlers. By 1825, a Kentuckian, William Twyford, had settled on the banks of the Wolf River, near the Neshoba area. Early records of the church were destroyed by fire on a couple of occasions.
