Thorbjørn Schwarz better known by his stage name DJ Static or just Static is a famous Danish DJ and producer and event organizer. He is co-founder, in partnership with Rasmus Lauridsen, of City Hall Music,a Danish record label. In 2012, he released his debut album ''Rolig under pres'' that reached the top of the Danish Albums Chart in its initial week of release. Career A prolific producer of records and mixtapes for many artists. He was a triple Danish national champion for mixing and has won the pan-European DMC - World DJ Championships. He was also named Best Urban DJ for 5 consecutive years from 2004 to 2008 during the Danish DeeJay Awards. He was the host for 10 years of the popular MC's Fight Night before ceding the responsibility to DJ Noize. MC's Fight Night
MC's Fight Night (abbreviated as MCFN or MCSFN) is an annual event of the Danish hip hop community with competition in the disciplines of impromptu rap (freestyle) hosted by Primo Entertainment. Although earlier rappers from other Scandinavian countries were allowed, now the battle is confined solely to Danish rappers making it the definitive freestyle rap competition for rap in Denmark. The event consists of "verbal battles" (i.e. games) between two rappers placed in a boxing ring and battles are done via microphones (hence the name MC, short for Microphone Controller). Those resorting to physical violence are disqualified. Finalists are decided after auditions held in various cities where hundreds of rappers apply. Judges eliminate one of the two contestants in 1/8 finals, quarterfinals, semifinals and the final finale. Each "battle" is limited to two laps of 1 minute on a particular subject. Kim Sæther (born 1975 at Lille Skensved, near Køge), better known as DJ Noize is a Copenhagen-based Danish hip-hop- DJ. His company, Noizeworks places all his activities under one moniker. Career DJ Noize started scratching in his local youth club at the age of 13 getting his own pair of Technics 1210 turntables at the age of 15. DJ Noize won Danish master titles in 1993, 1994, 1995, 1996 and 2000 and the New Music Seminar DJ Battle (then called "Clark Kent's Superman Battle for World Supremacy" and MC'd by DJ Clark Kent) in New York City against DJ 8-Ball in the summer of 1994 – the first white non-American to ever win. Vestergade 58 is a listed building in Aarhus, Denmark. The listing includes 6 buildings on Vestergade in Aarhus, in the Indre by neighborhood, The buildings were constructed around 1761 and were listed by the Danish Heritage Agency in 1950. The buildings were originally a merchant's mansion used for trade and storage but in the 1960s it became a cultural focal point in Aarhus as ''Musikernes Hus'' (The Musicians' House).
