The Investigation (TV Series)
''The Investigation'' (Danish: ''Efterforskningen'') is a six-part series, directed by Tobias Lindholm. The series is based on the investigation of the death of Kim Wall, a 30-year-old Swedish journalist. The series follows the criminal investigation of the case, featuring Søren Malling as Chief Inspector Jens Møller, Laura Christensen as Police Investigator Maibritt Porse, Pilou Asbæk as Special Prosecutor Jakob Buch-Jepsen and Rolf Lassgård and Pernilla August as Wall's parents. The series originally aired on 28 September 2020 on TV2 in Denmark and Sweden's SVT. It was broadcast on UK'S BBC Two between 22 January and 5 February 2021. HBO began showing the series on 1 February 2021. Danish Language
Danish (; , ) is a North Germanic language spoken by about six million people, principally in and around Denmark. Peter Madsen
Peter Langkjær Madsen (; born 12 January 1971) is a Danish convicted murderer and former entrepreneur. In April 2018, he was convicted of the 2017 murder of Swedish journalist Kim Wall on board his submarine, '' UC3 Nautilus'', and sentenced to life imprisonment. Biography Madsen was born in 1971 to Annie and Carl Madsen. He spent his early life in Sæby and Høng (both in Kalundborg Municipality), Denmark. Annie was more than 30 years younger than Carl and had three other boys from two previous men. Carl was allegedly abusive toward his three stepsons. Charlotte Munck (born 2 December 1969) is a Denmark, Danish actress. She is notable for starring in the Danish police television drama ''Anna Pihl'' as the title character, which was aired on TV2. Tobias Lindholm
Tobias Lindholm (born 5 July 1977) is a Danish screenwriter and film director. His 2015 directed film ''A War'' was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Foreign Language Film. In addition to ''A War'', he has directed the films '' R'' (2010), ''A Hijacking'' (2012), and ''The Good Nurse'' (2022). He has also written for multiple films and TV series. TV 2 (''TV to'') is a Danish government-owned broadcast and subscription television station in Denmark based in Odense, Funen. History Since 1949, Danmarks Radio had been the sole provider of television in Denmark.
