The Fitzroy
The Fitzroy is a ten-story residential building in the Chelsea, Manhattan, Chelsea neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. The building was developed by Largo and JDS Development Group and designed by Roman and Williams, a New York City-based architecture and design team. It is the firm’s third building design, after 211 Elizabeth and the Viceroy Hotel. History and construction JDS Development purchased the development site at 514 West 24th Street for $35 million in 2014. Preliminary plans for the building were released in early 2015. Largo and JDS Development secured a $57 million construction loan from Banco Santander for the structure in 2014 along with $17.5 million in preferred equity from First Key Residential. Renderings for the building were made available to the public in mid-2015. The building broke ground in late 2015. Sales of units in the building also began late in 2015. __NOTOC__ 211 Elizabeth is a residential building at 211 Elizabeth Street in the Nolita neighborhood of Manhattan in New York City. It was designed by architecture and interior design firm Roman and Williams and was the organization's first full building design. The building is primarily residential, but also includes space for three separate commercial developments on the first floor. It has fifteen units spread across seven stories, and room for three separate commercial developments in the structure's basement. Billy Joel and Gabriel Byrne are both residents of the building, as were Karlie Kloss and Josh Kushner until 2019. The bricks of the building were placed by hand, which is atypical for contemporary construction, as most buildings use pre-fabricated brick facades. 111 West 57th Street, also known as Steinway Tower, is a supertall residential skyscraper in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. Developed by JDS Development Group and Property Markets Group, it is situated along Billionaires' Row on the north side of 57th Street near Sixth Avenue. The main portion of the building is an 84-story, tower designed by SHoP Architects and completed in 2021. One Vanderbilt
One Vanderbilt is a 93-story supertall skyscraper at the corner of 42nd Street and Vanderbilt Avenue in the Midtown Manhattan neighborhood of New York City. Designed by Kohn Pedersen Fox, the building was proposed by developer SL Green Realty as part of a planned Midtown East rezoning in the early 2010s.
