Robert Thalheim
Robert Thalheim (born July 2, 1974, in Berlin) is a German stage and film director and screenwriter. Thalheim was an assistant director at the ''Berliner Ensemble'' in 1997–98. He then studied modern German literature, history and politics at the Free University of Berlin until the year 2000; during this period he edited the first issues of the culture magazine ''Plotky''. In 2000 he began to study film directing at the ''Filmhochschule'' (film school) in Potsdam-Babelsberg. Short biographical listing by an agency. His teacher there was Rosa von Praunheim, who monitored his work on his first films. Thalheim shot the film ''Pink Children'' (2012) together with 4 German directors about their mentor Rosa von Praunheim. Hans-Günther Thalheim
Hans-Günther Thalheim (5 May 1924 – 3 December 2018) was a German professor of German studies, German language and linguistics and of Literary sciences. He was also a writer and literary editor. Life Thalheim was born in Chemnitz, in the southern part of what was then central Germany. His father was a public official. He successfully undertook his Abitur, school final exams in 1943 and in 1943/44 performed substitute national service by working as a teacher in Carinthia. He also undertook a period of study involving German literature, history pedagogy and philosophy at University of Freiburg, Freiburg university in the south-west of the country, where his teachers included Walter Rehm and Martin Heidegger. Despite a serious eye-sight defect, in 1944 he had to work in a Chemnitz munitions factory. Bernhard Karl Thalheim (born 10 March 1952 in Radebeul) is a German computer scientist and professor of information systems engineering at the University of Kiel in Kiel, Germany. He is known for his work on conceptual modeling and its theoretical foundational contributions. Biography Born in Radebeul (near Dresden), Germany, Thalheim received his M.Sc. in mathematics and computer science in 1975 at the Dresden University of Technology, his PhD in discrete mathematics in 1979 at the Lomonosov Moscow State University, and his habilitation in theoretical computer science in 1985 at the Dresden University of Technology. From 1986-89, he was an associate professor at the Dresden University of Technology. In 1989 he moved to the University of Rostock, where he was professor until 1993. Barbara Thalheim (born Leipzig 5 September 1947) is a Berlin-based German singer and songwriter. She celebrated the fortieth anniversary of her first stage appearance in 2013. Life Family background and early years Barbara Thalheim was born in Leipzig. Her father was a cultural administrator. He had also been a Communist who in 1933 had emigrated first to Africa and later to France. However, he was handed over to the Gestapo, and by May 1945 when Germany's Nazi years ended in military defeat, he had survived three years as a detainee in the Dachau concentration camp. Thalheim an der Thur is a municipality in the district of Andelfingen in the canton of Zürich in Switzerland. History Thalheim an der Thur is first mentioned in 1166 as ''Torlinchovin''. In 1257 it was mentioned as ''Torlinkon''. Until 1878 it was ''Dorlikon''. The name may have originated from the Alamanni name ''Torilo'' which originated in the 7th century. However, as this name could easily be taken to mean "Fools' Village" (from the nowadays old-fashioned expression ''Tor'', German for "fool"), the community was granted a name change to ''Thalheim an der Thur'' in 1878.
