Teodoro Petkoff
Teodoro Petkoff Malec (; 3 January 1932 – 31 October 2018) was a Venezuelan politician, guerrilla, economist and journalist. One of Venezuela's most prominent politicians on the left, Petkoff began as a communist but founded the democratic socialist Movement Toward Socialism party after the 1968 Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia. Petkoff was elected as senator and ran for the presidency twice in the 1980s, being defeated both times. As Minister of Planning, he oversaw President Rafael Caldera's adoption of liberalization economic policies in the mid-1990s. He was a prominent critic of President Hugo Chávez and was a candidate to run against him in the 2006 presidential election until he dropped out four months before the vote to support Manuel Rosales. Petkoff launched the newspaper ''Tal Cual'' in 2000 and remained its editor until his death in 2018. Career Club Paredes started his senior football career in Paraguay with Cerro Porteño, he made his debut for the team on 18 May 2011 in a Paraguayan Primera División draw with GuaranÃ. Teodoro Obiang Nguema Mbasogo (; born 5 June 1942) is an Equatoguinean politician and former military officer who has served as the second president of Equatorial Guinea since August 1979. He is the longest-serving president of any country ever and the first or second- longest consecutively-serving current non-royal national leader in the world. After graduating from military school, Obiang held numerous positions under the presidency of his uncle, Francisco MacÃas Nguema, including director of the notorious Black Beach prison. Teodoro Mauri Moreno (14 June 1903 – 4 July 1960) is a former Spanish football forward and manager. Playing career As a youth played for the Catalunya Les Corts, Europa and Júpiter until he made the leap to Espanyol. With Perico's he became a legend of the 1920s, along with Ricardo Zamora, José Padrón, Pedro Solé or Crisant Bosch. In June 1927 he moved to Havana where he signed a one-year contract with the Club Juventud Asturiana. The Cuban team was trained by the Spanish Paco Bru, who was drafted by the Cuban regime to promote football and ensure the registration of Cuba in FIFA.
