Tarkan Tevetoğlu
Tarkan Tevetoğlu (; born 17 October 1972) is a Turkish singer-songwriter. Since the early 1990s, with the successful sales of his albums, he has been a prominent figure of pop music, recognized in Turkey and worldwide. Tarkan was born and raised in Alzey, Rhineland-Palatinate. In 1986, he moved to Turkey together with his family. Tarkan, who had been interested in music since his childhood, went to high school at Karamürsel and took music lessons. In the following years, he met the owner of İstanbul Plak, Mehmet Söğütoğlu, and signed a contract to release his own album. Tarkan released his first album ''Yine Sensiz'' in late 1992 with "Kıl Oldum" being chosen as its lead single. His second and third albums, ''Aacayipsin'' and ''Ölürüm Sana'', were released in 1994 and 1998 respectively. The song "Şımarık" from ''Ölürüm Sana'' became popular in a number of countries. Alzey
Alzey () is a ''Verband''-free town – one belonging to no ''Verbandsgemeinde'' – in the Alzey-Worms district in Rhineland-Palatinate, Germany. It is the fifth-largest town in Rhenish Hesse, after Mainz, Worms, Germany, Worms, Ingelheim am Rhein and Bingen am Rhein, Bingen. Tijs Michiel Verwest (; born 17 January 1969), known professionally as Tiësto ( ), is a Dutch DJ and music producer from Breda. He was voted "the Greatest DJ of All Time" by '' Mix'' magazine in a 2010/2011 poll amongst fans. In 2013, he was voted by ''DJ Mag'' readers as the "best DJ of the last 20 years". He is also regarded as the "Godfather of EDM" by many sources. In 1997, he founded the label Black Hole Recordings with Arny Bink, where he released the '' Magik'' and '' In Search of Sunrise'' CD series. ''Come Closer'' is the debut English language album by Turkish pop singer Tarkan. Album was published in Europe, Asia, Japan, North America, South America, Australia. It was released by Universal Records on April 7, 2006 in Europe and Central Asia. Tarkan began recording the album in 1997, following the success of his third Turkish release '' Ölürüm Sana'' that year. Referring to the album's title, Tarkan said: In August 2005, a number of songs recorded for the album were leaked onto the internet by a Turkish DJ. ''Dudu'' is a 2003 extended play album by Tarkan. This was his first album to be released through his own record label, HITT Music. It holds five songs and five remixes. The album was published in Europe and Asia. The sales of the album exceeded 4.1 million copies worldwide, of which over 2.5 million were sold in Turkey alone. To support the album, beginning in November 2003 Tarkan gave solo performances in Turkey and other countries. ''Karma'' is Tarkan's fourth studio album, released in 2001. His fifth music project and his fourth original release, this album moved away from pop to worldbeat melodies fused with electronica sounds and became the all time third best selling album in Turkey. The album was recorded in Istanbul, Los Angeles, New York City, Egypt and Europe. Album was published in Europe, North America, Asia, Japan, Russia. By 2001 more than 3.6 million copies of this album was sold worldwide. The tour "Kuzu Kuzu" which began in January 2002 was very successful as well and Tarkan performed in 19 countries and gave 26 concerts. The were a people of ancient Japan believed to have lived along the Yoshino River in Nara Prefecture. They were mentioned in the Kojiki and Nihon Shoki. "Şımarık" (, "Spoilt"), also known as "Kiss Kiss", is a 1997 song by Turkish singer Tarkan. It was written by Sezen Aksu, with music credited as composed by Tarkan. However, Tarkan later admitted in a 2006 interview that this had been done without Aksu's consent, who was the true copyright owner. It formed part of Tarkan's album '' Ölürüm Sana''. "Şımarık" was released in France in 1998 and the rest of the world in 1999, from the compilation album ''Tarkan'', which was released in Europe. It has sold two million copies all across Europe.
