Tālis Linkaits (born 18 August 1970) is a Latvian economist and politician. He holds a degree in economics from the University of Latvia, and has outstanding experience in public administration and public policy development. He has extensive advisory experience in transition countries, in particular Latvia, Serbia, Montenegro, Kosovo and Moldova. He was the Head of the VASAB (Vision and Strategies Around the Baltic Sea) Secretariat at the State Regional Development Agency from 2006-2018. Uldis Augulis (born 16 March 1972) is a Latvian politician and a member of the Union of Greens and Farmers. He holds a bachelor's degree in financial management from the University of Latvia. He was the former Welfare Minister from 2009 to 2010 and again between 2014 and 2016, and also again 2023 to 2025. He was also the former Minister of Transport from 2010 to 2011 and again between 2016 and 2019. He was also the acting Minister of Justice from March to April 2010. Raimonds Vējonis (born 15 June 1966) is a Latvian politician who served as the 9th President of Latvia from 2015 to 2019 and the president of the Latvian Basketball Association since 2020. He is a member of the Latvian Green Party, part of the Union of Greens and Farmers. He served as Minister of Environmental Protection and Regional Development in 2002 and in 2011 and as Minister of the Environment from 2003 to 2011, while the Ministry of Regional Development was a separate department. He became Minister of Defence of Latvia in 2014 and held that office until becoming president in 2015. Since 2020 he is the president of Latvian Basketball Association. Egils Levits (born 30 June 1955) is a Latvian politician, lawyer, political scientist and jurist who served as the tenth president of Latvia from 2019 to 2023. 2018 Latvian Parliamentary Election
Parliamentary elections were held in Latvia on 6 October 2018.
